Ttliv is still crying about Cristiano flopping, I see.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Goal and assist in the group of death is far better than 4 goals against 3 teams of farmers who occasionally play football once every few months. Messi will flop (as usual in WCs) the moment he faces a half decent team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ronaldo cost Portugal massively. Against the Yank farmboys and Ghanaian fruit washers he wasted chance after chance after chance. He scored! Whoopee- do, even Rickie Lambert could have tapped in that after the complete hash the keeper made of it. As for his assist? A bog standard cross that Varela did excellently to convert.
Messi, I am sure, will send CR7 a nice postcard from round 2.

Messi and ronaldo are both absolute world stars and a distance ahead of the rest IMO. Messi I would put marginally ahead however you can't go on the WC as messi plays alongside aguero, Higuain, Lavezzi, etc etc and ronaldo has bank and Eder partnering him. Both truly great players who we all should enjoy watching whilst we still can.

Apparently tittylipps is totally impartial when it comes to judging Ronaldo and Messi.

Phil Jones missed his calling as a potato farmer.
Smalling should still be picking his own in Kent.
It's just so disrespectful to refer to a player from a smaller nation as a farmer just because they may not play for an elite club or won a world cup before.
Shows a complete lack of knowledge and it's an arrogant attitude.
Iker Casillas. How this guy has managed to go the past decade convincing people he's the best keeper in the world is beyond me. It's a travesty that he went to the World Cup (and completely flopped) ahead of the far superior Diego Lopez.
Exactly, I don't know why people can't judge them without resorting to insulting the one they don't like.

And got picked ahead of de gea
Team of overated players would be decent...haha...
Casillas,
Rafael, S.Ramos, Hummels, L.Shaw,
Gerrard, Wilshere,
Hulk, Rooney, Gotze,
Cavani.
If Messi wins the World Cup, the argument will no longer be about whether he can perform at a world cup. But but that he has failed to prove much as he has never left Barcelona.

You missed Fabregas out
Hummels?
He'd improve most sides in world football.
Most overrated player? Jack Wilshere! Been pony.for a couple of years and shows no sign of getting back to his early promise.

he annoys me so much, but prior to his injuries he was poised to be one of the best cms in world football. I hope he still goes on to fulfill his early promise
Like OP I have never ever ever been overly impressed with cavani. Might sound tough but I will not even swap him for hernandes.
