Never a penalty.
Definitely a sending off, he was stupid.
We threw it away, simple as that. Even without the penalty we were letting them back into the game instead of carrying on as we were for an hour.
Was never a penalty but was definitely a sending off, I thought the second yellow was a great bit a refereeing, you don't see it often but you should.
disgusting performance from the ref, its about time they should face the media and give response to the decisions they make just like the managers and players have to!
Forrest will feel very lucky today.
Great match and both sets fans were fantastic, yet again another match is decided by a poor ref.
Just a thought if mills handled in the area and the ref gave the pen, why was he not sent off?
Florist fans, I don't want to do your jobs for you but...
"Bin Robbers Bin Robbed?"
Atrocious refereeing, by an official who compounded a pathetic performance by allowing himself to be intimidated by the home crowd.
Robbed indeed. We know it, and so do the Forest fans.
Chill out girls, it happens, that's what makes football such a great game
Kasper was stupid against a jobsworth of a referee out to make a name for himself. He doesn't really have a leg to stand on, even though the red was a bit ridiculous, and as a professional he should've known to keep his head down and give the ref no excuse to bask in the limelight. The penalty was just ridiculous - no further comment is really needed.
There were two turning points in that game anyway. The first was when Nugent came off, which I thought was a bit of a strange decision. Gally didn't work anywhere near hard enough - he didn't close players down quickly nor did he put himself about or hold the ball up effectively. In fact, he contributed nothing and despite all his protestations, he simply isn't a striker.
The peno was the big one though and I disagree with Doctor Fox - Forest were coming back into the game but we were still pretty comfortable and I'm sure we'd have gone on and won. Forest got lucky today, as to be fair we've done in the past against them - we've just got to hope it'll even itself out for us sometime.
Leicester fans really should be blaming Mills and Schmeichel not the blinking referee.
Mills was off balance so he put his hand down. The ball rolled into his hand. handball every time. Pretty obvious really.
The first yellow for Schmeichel was a bit harsh, but fair. The second yellow was absolutely called for. Why Schmeichel or any keeper does that nonsense, is beyond me. He was mad about the penalty that had just been converted and let his emotions get the best of him. He over-reacted and deservedly got a red card. Simple.
All of you foxes are angry because your team deserved to win today and didn't. I can admit that. Can you admit that you not winning the game was not down to the referee, but rather it was caused by a few players on your team losing their heads at a key moment.
Madness, fair point I was just feeling a tad sorry for myself.
Totally agree about your Nugent point, very strange decision bringing him off. I think that basically said, very early, that we were happy to sit back and that in turn encouraged florist.

I agree that it should never have been a penalty, but what did Kasper expect throwing the ball away so petulantly? I expect that both sides will be desperately disappointed with the goals they conceded. I felt that McClaren let us down big time with his team selection. This was a game that we needed to press in attack early and gain the initiative. Our midfield are uselessly immobile. Although the three midfielders SM has brought are decent enough, none of them are actually what we need, which is essentially someone who can put themselves about a bit in the right areas, or a goal-scoring Chris Cohen. Other than the equaliser, which I'm convinced was an own goal, we didn't have a shot on goal after their sending off. Shocking. Miller and Derbyshire aren't fit to lace Earnie's boots on that showing.
We're just hearing from kasper schmeical that the referee never told him and he didn't see the yellow card.
If this is true, then it's incredibly poor of the referee.

tricky............. if it was the other way round i doubt you would see it that way.
"Mills was off balance so he put his hand down. The ball rolled into his hand. handball every time."
really? the ball rolled to his hand, so not ball to hand as opposed to handball then? very very very soft! almost pathetic! in fact it would have been just as soft to call foul on mills!
To be honest Leicester took there foot off the pedal after they went 2-0 up, i was scared at that point Forest where going to get a good thrashing in our own back yard. But as they say football is a funny game
Tricky-Tree - with handball there has to be intent. You've admitted yourself that the ball hit Mill's arm (not arm to ball) so how exactly can that be a "penalty every time?" Mills had no idea where the ball even was and there wasn't a forest player anywhere near him - it was quite undoubtedly the wrong call and it's not as if it was a particularly difficult decision to make either.
Schmeichel, as a few of us have said, was stupid and he can't really complain about the red. It was harsh (and I suspect most other refs wouldn't have given it) but the rules are the rules. If they were applied with even a remote level of consistency the whole situation would be far less frustrating. Also, had Kasper still been in goal your equaliser wouldn't have happened as I'm confident that, unlike Weale who flapped at Cohen's cross and got nowhere near it, Schmeichel would've collected it.
We (or namely Kasper) let ourselves down definitely, but we wouldn't have lost that game without the incorrect intervention of the ref.
Lucky forest 14 v 10 and you got a point
Should big spending fester buy another new keeper? The owners must be getting a bit concerned now.
Most florist fans seem quite gracious following snatching a draw after a quite poor performance. But this strange ray chap appears delighted by it all. You won't get that lucky every match kid, so I'd be a bit worried after that performance.
You can buy a complete team but forgot to buy the ref' huh????????
