Well he does ignore the fans! He didn't like being under the cosh when he was interviewed this week. He's ignorant to a good number of fans who are disillusioned with his tactics!

I'm not anti Clark but he got lucky today and he will know it. I'd of settled for that before kick off though.

he cant win can he even any positive result for town and hes "lucky" and hes ignorant, why should he answer to a small minority of divs on an internet forum.

If he was ignorant then he would have one just that - ignored the criticisms form fans. What he did was explain his decisions, pointing out that he would welcome any fan who wished to have a personal explanation. Now some people may read into that fact that he listens to the fans and has an open door policy, others will say he's panicking and can't handle criticism. The latter would have denigrated him if he'd kept quiet too, so if you don't like him he can do nothing to win you over, can he?

I don't dislike Mr Clark personally, I just think he shouldn't be doing his apprenticeship at Huddersfield Town FC!

that was a tough game...but Town found their spirit in the 2nd half and just about deserved their victory.
Rhodes played well, and Ward when he came on for Roberts,..but I still have some reservations about midfield, there were vast empty spaces in the middle which Colchester exploited..this happened too aften. Also , P Clarke struggles against pace and their lad Ohigugguu (or whatever) looked really dangerous.

A bit of everything in that game, good town, bad town ;but 3 points was important and I felt entertained afterwards..

More of the same next saturday please..

Today we won , but if only pappers over the cracks , we haven't improved at all from last season we still look Shiite at the back , still let goals in for fun we were lucky today , it could have gone either way clark knows it as well , playing like we did in first half we will be lucky to get mid table ,. Do ya know a fell a sleep in first half today .

Not sure if papering over the cracks, or finally 'gelling' together..If we'd gone 1-3 down you felt all hell was about to break loose...but Town came out just right in 2nd half and the Town fans were brilliant..and we scored just at the right time when it looked as if Colchester were going to weather the storm.

Last away game Colchester won at Preston 4-2, so they're no mugs and had dangerous players all over the park.

Kays' booking was totally deserved, he completely flattened their guy..but hey, we want players to assert themselves..

Central defence still a problem tho', but maybe Johnson will help when he's back..McDermott played well, Robinson okay, Miller...not sure about...Also, naysmith looks a liability, giving the ball away too often..

See Nathan score winner today for Oldham..

Anyway, 1 point behind play-offs...that's better.

A win but a slim one. Seems you're right Louie, papering over the cracks. Outplayed in terms of possesion (at home !!!) and same old same old, try to keep a one goal lead !

Why Kay ??? At this stage, getting back in to the game, go for the jugular, Lee for Rhodes with 15 mins to go.

These tactics we will get undone by the late goal; prefer to go for it and lose a few, at least we would be entertained.

This rate I can see the league panning out as the current positions are.

How do i get an invite to the Clark "I don't know what I'm doing so will a fan come to my house and watch videos" gig ?

Miller one of the best players on pitch one ever header in midfield , also I thought robinson played very well too or was I sleeping through the whole game and just dreaming they played well .

LV69,

Some apprentice that Lee Clark bloke must be!

How many fully fledged experienced managers can you name who have guided their teams through a 29 match unbeaten league run?

In Lee Clark I trust.

posted on 20/8/11

Yes but with all that cash he's spent it should be at least 40 matches by now mirf, Clark out .

I'm still a pessimist, it takes more than one win - against a very poor team where we could have been beaten by half time - to turn me into a positive person s far as Lee Clark goes. I don't over-react when we draw 3 in a row so I certainly won't over-react because of one less than convincing win! 2nd half certainly shows what we can do when we get at teams though, although we still need to improve, and then get the consistency, but the second 45 minutes is a building block from which to start.

Gary Roberts - bye bye, you don't wanna be here so you can eff off as far as I'm concerned!

I been crying out for ward and McDermott to start on the wings all season and to drop fannyabout robberts to be droped .at last i can stop crying out .

Roberts is carrying a injury according to Lee Clark and said he shouldn't have started him.

hes making excuses for him. as they walked of at half time roberts shrugged his shoulders and put his arms out to lc as to say what more can i do. and also to say its not my fault/problem.

well im sorry the sh it first have was all 11 players problems.

lee clark took him off and wardy showed how sh ite he really is. roberts couldnt dream of being that good.

we win

lets hope hes realised roberts is lazy puts in no effort and just blames the rest of the team for his lack of creating opportunities.

roberts out

ward in!

posted on 20/8/11

I don't rate roberts last season he was terrible, dancing around pretending to be good dont wash with me . Ward ever time for me , you can get rid of fannyabout roberto for me .
