Brazil just not the same as Brazil of old. Even without Dani Alves, there is way too much thuggery from them. The Spanish referee allowed them to get away with way too much, which ironically cost them Neymar.
I think that bod that tried to cripple(or may have!)Neymar should be taken out and shot!..
The biting incident was bad enough for the World Cup, but that was absolute madness!..

But we've had plenty of practice getting over German successes, I am sure another won't kill me
I suspect you'll have two extra men to play, the crowd and the ref (don't know who that will be but I have noticed Brazil seem to be getting a lot of decisions their way)
Argentina were my bet from the start but Germany are avoiding injuries rather nicely....

Ironically, for me, Brazil mostly benefitted from the referee being way too lenient throughout the game!
Jonny, home teams usually do get that bit more, but still gives no rights for anyone to do what he did, I hope when its looked at he gets the biggest punishment that can be given!..
Hopefully he's thrown out of football, I think he had no intensions of getting the ball and had his knee aimed exacly where he wanted it to land!..
I have to agree with JLA the ref was lenient towards some of the Brazilian shenanigans...!
It will be interesting to see how they are refereed for the semi...?
Re the crocking of Neymar I think it was a poor attempt but I don't think it was malicious. Reckless more than malicious.

Eric, asking me a player coming from behind with the ball completely covered from his view shouldn't come in with his knee that high!..
If they were both jumping for the ball ok, but that looks like a well thought about tackle!..

To me it kind of looks like he's focused on the ball and is going in like that so as to control the ball, however Neymar stands his ground/gets there first.

The knee in the back and the way he pushed him to the ground don't look like he was after the ball, if he was after the ball why would he lead with his knee?....he must have known there was a player infront of him!..
Easy way to control that sort of ball with his thigh, but then when he made contact with the player, I assume that's why the arms came out to try and stop himself.
But surely its just as easy to straighten the leg as it is to push the arms out?..
The contact suggests he didn't even try to straighten the knee!..
The Knee and the arms made contact together,(both with force!)if there wasn't anyone infront of him he may have been able to control the ball with the thigh, but as there was someone infront of him, his knee should have been kept out of play!..

I did not mean to imply that Brazil was favored by the referee, just that he did not take control of teh game and that in my view Brazil was a bigger beneficiary of that.
Rest assured I believe the perpetrator will be banned for the rest of the World Cup!
