He looked a real handful, hope he kicks on in his development.

id like to see us spend 30/40 mill on jackson martinez
I don't think we are interested in him
Splashing the cash nice and early. All new players will be around for pre season training.
Yes, get them signed up, settled and in for pre season training.
Wasn't he at the world cup? So he'll be late back after the mandatory time off.
I want us to sign Markovic, if only because of his first name. LAZAR!
He's going back to Lille on loan anyway SMN! Don't know why though, we might need him with Suarez leaving and Sturridge being injury prone. Hope we can get Sanchez.
Looks like an excellent player if his performances at the WC are anything to go by - incredible athleticism.
he finishes like Coutinho, otherwise impressive especially at that age
GET IN, signed the Belgian Danny Welbeck
Personally I didn't think he was great at the World Cup. Although he does seem to have the raw attributes but then so did David N'gog.
He plays in a positive manner at least, Markovic too, both still very raw but at 19 and 20 not an issue. Markovic price is a bit silly though if 25m is true, the Portuguese love their release clauses.
Cann/Markovich/Origi/Lallana, 4 players who like to get on the ball, are comfortable on it and can carry it well when on it too.
Sky saying Real Madrid are 'hijacking' tge move...
I kove the media and there transfer frenzy
id like to see us spend 30/40 mill on jackson martinez

i wouldnt.
i also dont think imho that markovic will add anything special for 20 mil... id be much happier if that was being spent on the defense where it is far more needed

thats because its compulsory in a contract in portugal... i think it is also in spain, not sure

Origi didn't look very comfortable on the ball in the world cup; but he's as a nippy little fooker.
What's the latest news on the LB situation?
I'm surprised more people weren't impressed by Origi; I thought his close-control and dribbling looked pretty good, and combined with his size and athleticism (looks like a tall Walcott), he has huge potential.
Origi against USA was very impressive, he struggled against Argentina but he is a kid. I think his finishing needs work on while other aspects to his game will grow as he plays more. Hopefully a loan back or even to a prem club is the best option.
Origi's finishing left a lot to be desired
For a team that were so close to winning the prem it seems a strange transfer policy. Losing the best player in the league and replacing that loss with inexperienced although talented players looks like a step back. Surely a couple of big signings and you would have fancied winning it,now it looks more like a c/l qualifying campaign again.
