Too weak, no link up, movement, speed, cannot take on players or hold the ball upfront.
Have you ever actually watched him play as a lone striker? He can't do it, pretty much for all the reasons Lado gives. Good finisher =/= good striker.
Podolski>Giroud.
Aw has a habit of playing players out of position, Theo being a prime example.
Giroud is a very lucky man to be playing at such a good club.

As a lone striker, Giroud > Podolski, it's not even close.

You've been brainwashed bud
Giroud is so much better than Pod up top.
With sanchez coming in you have to wonder if podolski will even play, just a squad player nothing more than that
He'll definitely play, we had to play Gnabry for a chunk of the season last year, just not up top.
Pfft Pod can't even get a game for Germany
People just want to shoe horn Podolski in because he is a loveable fella who likes a laugh.
Fact is he has never been effective as a main striker, and has shown numerous times that he will never be.

The team the annihilated Brazil?

Could have been 12 if Pod was there
Tux, bud, try not to lecture fans of other teams on their players' abilities/tactics/manager. It's really annoying. We don't try and tell you that your evaluation of Jason Puncheon is wrong.
Germany has Muller, Klose, Goetze and Kroos up top. Not Giroud.
@Bestie
You don't mention it because Puncheons value in relation to his performances>Giroud and Podolski bud. And they play in the same league week in/out.
Nice one 'Bestie'

He's a moron, no point asking him to elaborate on his stupid statements.
@'Amazing'
Firstly, the name you've chosen says much about you.
Secondly, I'm neither biased or bitter. I love football and happen to follow my local team.
