Apparently leyton orient have been bought by an Italian billionaire. Surprising that as bill is looking 24/7 and allegedly no one is buying football clubs at the moment.

So you want some Billionaire to buy Everton?

posted on 13/7/14

I just wonder why nobody has even expressed an interest? I mean, if the price is too high with a player the media is used.

Wouldn't complain, I am more looking for someone with a good business plan. Maybe I expect to much from/for my club

Well the accounts show we break even. So as some on toffee web would suggest 'Uncle Bill' sets the price high to stop someone taking his 'Train Set'

I don't pretend to know how much is being asked for the club. I do know that we are breaking even because we keep selling stuff e.g. players, traing ground. Imo this is not a substanable business plan. The deal with kitbag is a disgrace. We need something someone

We'll this will go round and round all day.

Is Everton for sale?
if yes, how much does Bill want for it?

posted on 13/7/14

Apparently we are for sale, Bill has been looking 24/7 ( his own words). As far as I am aware there is no official price.

Best to just ignore the subject then. The whole thing might go away if we ignore it.

The club needs a new stadium to become more profitable.

We won't be bought until we become profitable.

Bill and co (it's the co that should be under real scrutiny they do less than bill and own more) cant muster up enough cash to build a new stadium.

And so the vicious circle continues.

Agree about board confidence the Chang and KitBag deals are woeful

That should read "board *incompetence"

I agree about the entire board, Bill gets the flack because he puts himself as the official face/voice of the club. If he wants the plaudits when we get a bright new manager or we win a big game. Then you should expect the flack when things dont go well. Only fair really isn't it?

Plus its Bill & the board that oversaw two pathetic doomed from the start (imo) ground moves.

I'm glad the Kirkby one fell through kings dock will continue to haunt us until we find a good alternative

Same here, I didn't really want DK, I wounder if we will actually have the funds for a new ground?

Kings dock would have been brilliant; I dreamt of turning up for the match on a jet ski.

Wasn't there an anouncement about a new ground proposal a couple of months ago? I think a site close to Goodison was identified.

I imagine we'll have a bit more cash to afford it now since the increased money with the TV deal. I think our debts reduced a fair bit now but we would still have to rely on a loan to afford it (I think that's what arsenal did they alway go on about the stadium being paid off).

The ground move was mentioned around season ticket renewal. Coincidence? I think not
