I think Levy would have a long term plan, and he also has a stadium to build.

with that in mind I would expect a quiet transfer window, and a few quiet ones to come, but I also expect Poch would have taken the job knowing he can arrange the team how he wants and that would include new personnel, although he may have to fund incoming transfers by selling players.

Levy will also know their is money to be made in the transer market, so would have to speculate to accumulate.

So on balance I can see us moving a few players on and getting a few in, but the ones we get in will probably be young players with potential rather than any marquee signings or even well proven players.

Levy needs to give Poch time , even with a full pre season I reckon it will take a full season before we start seeing the finished product , I'm getting facked off with the amount of managers we go through.

I think if Poch gives us 5th he has had a great season
6th or 7th and he will have done a decent job.

we need stability for the team, theplayer need to know their manager will be there for the foreseeable, rather than just seeing a conveyor belt of managers pass through the club.

Doesn't that work both ways? If they know we need to buy then they can drive the price upwards?

Yes there are more clubs that we could turn to, but if they have a player we want and know we are short then it stands to reason they can add a couple of million on.

Agree.. needs to give him a few seasons as long as we are improving and in top 4-6

----

fair enough, but its the fans that are the problem.

we all say give him time, but three bad results back to back and the boo boys are out and want him sacked.

to put it bluntly, our fans are a bunch of thick, unrealistic s, particularly those at white hart lane, and cannot understand the simple concept of not writing off someone or something just because it doesn't work at once.

you would have thought the gareth bale saga from the moment he joined the club to the moment he left would have shown us that things take time to work out, but no, we collectively just carry on in faaacking it all up, and Levy reacts to it. he has to be strong this time round if it doesn't initially go to plan.
