Just another member of the Liverpool bumboys in the media. Same people have said this for about 8 years running.

"I want Arsenal to do well. I love their heritage. As a 13-year-old I was invited there as a potential recruit. Ian Wright looked after me and took me in to see George Graham, the manager. I was starstruck."

Another ex-scouser out for our blood. Boy, they really are peeved that Sanchez chose us instead...

Not sure how you can say he failed as a footballer?

He is a boring man though.

It will be a lot more difficult for Arsenal to finish as a top 4 side this season than last season. Last season it was a lot more open, 1st all the way down to 7th all being top 4 sides. This season I reckon Arsenal will need to finish 4th or above to make top 4 and I don't see it.

Chelsea and City are pretty much nailed on for top four, then he picked the two teams he played for.
Not so much hate for Arsenal as misguided loyalty to his former employers and a lack of knowledge.

It's odd that's he's showing us some kind of loyalty now but he didn't when he actually played for is. He ran down his contract and left for pittance.

Robbie doing his best classic pundit impression

...as for M. Owen, he's just a bloke giving his opinion for money. Not a big deal.

I think getting top 4 will be harder this year than last.

posted on 15/7/14

Funny enough this is the one season I think Arsenal will not drop out the top 4.

Good 1st team and starting to get some strength in depth to cover the inevitable injuries.

Seriously how can any pundit still make this argument with a straight face. Yeah it might be a little provocative to stir things up, but don't pundits care about actually being repsected by consumers and peers alike. Gary Neville seems to be doing a decent job, as he's fairly objective and makes informed points.

Owen take note, countless pundits have been saying this for YEARS. First it was when City burst through and we were expected to drop out. Liverpool dropped out spectacularly, we stayed strong.

Then Spurs started to make some noise with talented players like Van de Vaart, Modric and Bale. They did get in but at Chelsea's expense not ours, then they dropped out again and don't look like returning.

Then Liverpool and Everton looked like making a come back and it is United who drop out by some distance, not us. Everton made a bit of go of it but bottled it while we stayed strong.

We are the only team to stay in the top four for the last ten years. United, City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton, and Villa have all been there or there abouts but none of them can say that about their team.

And now finally when we actually have a more settled squad, some great talents and spending some money in the transfer windows, this incompetent lot still recycle the same old drivel. We will be challenging for the title this year. More so than Liverpool will. Mark my words. We probably won't win it, but we'll be in until the end and we'll go further in the CL than we have for the last five years. Bookmark. Owen should shut his trap as should all his idiot mates over at BT.
