Next up tomorrow: Jamie Redknapp says Arsenal need at least 5 players to challenge Liverpool for the title.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The next day - Milan Baros questions whether Sanchez would have gotten in the team ahead of Raheem Sterling.
The day after - Vladimir Smicer congratulates Liverpool for selling Suarez, because "he was holding Daniel Sturridge back."
The day after that - Robbie Fowler criticises Arsene Wenger for not buying more home-grown talent like Emre Can.
The day after THAT - Xabi Alonso hopefully tells the lot of them to stuff a dirty sock in it.

I still think Liverpool's current 11 could sneak a draw if Arsenal do play their 5-a-side team as Jamie has suggested.
Owen is one of those clueless ones. Think the hate he gets on twitter inspired him to say such things.
Owen is seeking attention why bother giving him that?
I think its a case of believing that eventually 1 season, Arsenal will not make the Top 4, and when it happens the pundit wants to say i told you so, even though they've been wrong the previous 10 seasons

Some serious victim mentality here if I am honest. DJ was spot on. City and Chelsea are a given. Its between Liverpool, Arsenal and Utd for the other two spots IMO. One will deffo deffo miss out. Saying it will be Arsenal is not 'being out to get you'. Many more have predicted Liverpool to drop out. Others think United wont make it. What makes it wrong if someone thinks it will be Arsenal?

Well its no accusation. Pure fact. Now that I've mentioned it, have another read through the thread. Its hilarious.
Foolish comment Owen, he likes to be humiliated.

Everyones entitled to an opinion, and ofcourse rather than omit Liverpool or Man Utd, Owen once again chose the obvious, just like he did last season.
If theres 1 thing we can guarantee, its that Arsenal will deffo finish in the Top 4.
You can deny it all you want but its inevitable.
We always made it when we sold our best players and now that we are actually spending money, Owen thinks we wont
Let me put in this way, if Suarez was an Arsenal player and was sold, do you think Owen would have suggested that to be a reason why we wouldnt make Top 4?
I think we all know the answer to that
In conclusion, all Owen did was give the Top 4 he would prefer to see.
'they are out to get us, but dont worry, we'll show them, we'll show them good.'
Why are people sold on this Chelsea and Mancity "given" for top two thing.
Yes, they both have good squad strengths, but so, would Manu, Liverpool and Arsenal who have more room to manoeuvre with the FFP rules allowing for significant improvement on their squads.
It's certainly going to be an interesting season and nothing can be taken for granted.

No idea. I think Mourinho is setting too much store in his new signings hitting the ground running - but Fabregas isn't going to thrive in Mourinho's anti-football, and I think Diego Costa will end up as another Torres.
I do not get this hatred between Arsenal and Liverpool, teams like these two should try and stick together along with Manchester Utd, these three clubs are the three biggest clubs in Britian they are built on traditions and history, they are institutions, then you get some sides that have won the lottery and think they rule the place, like some lout who has come into money and moved in next door to you, a little bit of wummery is a must, but let us leave the nasty stuff for the oil merchants.

It comes from Liverpool fans, like Owen etc being told some home truths by current players like Suarez last year and Alexis this summer.
Add that to the fear of Man Utd returning to the top 4. Until last season Arsenal were the only top 4 team who couldn't buy themselves out of trouble so were always favs to drop out the top 4. It never actually happened but the media pretended it could. Now Arsenal are spending big.
That sort of hopeless desperation manifests against Arsenal fans because we were their only hope!

How do you explain it then? 89 perhaps, but surely even Liverpool fans can't hold a grudge that long about a single title? But in my experiance Liverpool and Arsenal fans always used to get on well - in fact it's just in the last few years, on here particularly, that they don't really...
