I agree with the comment above. Just do it mate.
Wow that's harsh Pete
35 Goals in 95 appearances is a world class return, name me a target man with a better goals to game ratio?
I really did think last year would be the last time we'd see Gipoo be our starting striker.

35 Goals in 95 Apps isn't that good of a return for a target man for a club like Arsenal who are competing for the League.

Target men score less goals than real strikers, so its actually a decent return
I think the abuse the French man receives on this site is over the top. He's a good striker, who'd make the squad of anyone in the top four.

Yes, as a SQUAD player. No way should he be our main striker......
No way !!!
Wish the army would use Giroud as a target man.

Maybe Arsenal should get a striker who isn't a target man then, City, United, Liverpool and probably Chelsea after signing Costa all have strikers who can get 25+ goals in a season.
You people are pathetic... I'm not saying he's the best striker out there but these comments are getting pretty ridiculous.
Yep, absolutely disgusting treatment he is getting at the moment. Funny thing I saw was Higuain managed to score a mamoth 17 goals this season which completely puts to shame Giroud's measly 16 league goals. Lewandowski also scored 26 goals in all competitions while Giroud only managed 22 goals. I am sure he leads them all in terms of assists too!

The only thing Giroud has is a decent lay off, opther than that he's average technically. Can't head, can't shoot, can't dribble, can't pass, literally a donkey

Absolutely hilarious right?!
Clearly there's been some sort of misunderstanding...
Giroud should have waaaaaaaaaaay more than 22 goals this season. He gets the chances but he misses most of them. Thats the main issue with him. Hes just not clinical. Dare i remind you of his disgraceful performance vs Man City?

The match mate, he couldve scored 3 easily. Probably the worst performance that ive seen from any Arsenal player in a long while.
Guys, there is no point because Giroud IS going to be our main striker this season, whether we like it or not, so you may as well support him rather than chatise him, it's not helping Arsenal in any way.
The team has everyones support, no question. But, it's an area where we need to improve significantly in order for us to challenge. It's been the case since last summer and hasnt been resolved yet. Need someone to take chances in big games and Giroud is not that man.
But if getting a striker would have meant us NOT getting Sanchez, would you be happy?
