Anyone remember recent rebel vs goverment fight of Syria? There were many reports and I think actually proof that the some of rebels were al quida and many of them also getting support from terrorist, syrian goverment was figting these rebels and america were deploying 4 warship or something like that and finally Syria decided to give up its chemical weapons...
Whenever you watched CNN, syrian goverment was the villain.....
Now USA is silent... CNN portrays it as if its Hamas vs Israel and give a neutral reporting with making Hamas look like the instigator.

Plenty of fundraising going on in America as i type. Same thing appening in England by friends of Israel. People who send money to regimes and quietly applaude when atrocities are carried out. Should the conflict not be widened to include these people ?

USA and Britain actually trained some of the rebels in Lebanon/Jordan etc before arming them in Syria. The rebels have evolved into ISIS, described as a more extreme version of Al Qaeda, but essentially they are western trained and armed militants.

If i was a construction company with insurances in Iraq, i'd be licking my lips right now. The States have trained and armed both sides and can now sit back and watch the chaos unfold before profiting from the aftermath.

Yes, i think Economy drives the foreign policy, morality, human right and all that international community BS.
USA will support those , by supporting whom its economy grows, for its perceived enemies it makes all kind of things like human rights... When it helped create Koshovo by breaking Bosni(or serbia it was?)it was alrite, but now crimian rebels have created Crimia and joined Russia , its illegal...
Lesson, everyone has their own concern and to meet them, any action will be legitimate... Legitimacy , morality and whatever is OK if you do it and if the same thing your competitor do, then not.

Was wondering when it would be the USAs fault.

Given the rest of the world doesn't have a pair of bollox between them to actually stand up and be counted.

See the MH17 crash for details, USA takes a back seat as it had 1 american on board, world whines and b!+ches but does nothing, does anyone think that site would still be insecure if 200 Americans were on that flight? No, I didn't think so.

Hi all, this post seems to be at loggerheads as much as the ongoing conflict. Although calling it a conflict is an understatement.

Am I wrong to assume that if the UK were to get involved attacking Hamas that they wouldn't just bomb innocents with the excuse that their were some baddies in the vicinity? I'd imagine we'd actually show some military tactics and precision and either infiltrate the area carefully taking out the terrorists amongst the civilians. What the Israeli forces are doing is actually easier than shooting fish in a barrel, they're just smashing it to pieces with complete disregard for human life, innocent human life.

This is why the world is turning on Israel, not because Israel is in the wrong, but because of the way they are going about it. If pro-Israel supporters can't see it you're as stubborn as Netanyahu and his death squad

A Muslim country in that region needs a nuke to hold Israel back, otherwise Israel will always be bold enough to do anything, say Iran gets a nuke, then that region will get neutralized...

USA have done nothing in Ukraine because they are fúcking shít scared of Russia, a country capable of real self defence.

America is the reasonably big guy at school that picks on the small kids all it wants but wouldn't dare actually fight one of the other big guys.

USA has done nothing in the Ukraine because the situation is not to do with them.

The world is full of cowardly nations who will do nothing without the USA behind them, its pathetic.

As I said, if 200 Americans were on that flight, that site would have been neutralized 10 days ago for an absolute fact.

Far too much Jewish money in the US for them to get involved. This conflict has gone too far, too many innocent lives have been lost for people to just lay down their arms and start anew. Why should the Palestinians trust any talk of truce when the truces are constantly broken? (by both parties)

The world is full of cowardly nations

And good old America is there to help liberate eh?

The biggest coward is the bully.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
No, the biggest coward is the one who stands idly by and does nothing to stop injustice in whatever form it may come.

If the USA is so so bad, the world should stand up to them, but because they are cowards they don't.

posted on 1/8/14

Exactly my point, blaming the USA is just stupid, the rest of the world has a voice but do and say nothing, that is cowardice and those nations are equally responsible for any USA actions.

It's hard for any non nuclear nation to stand up to the only nation in history willing to use nuclear weapons.....

90% Israeli population supports these actions so this tells the story. As they believe they are the 'chosen ones' or superior people so they have no regards for dirty Palestinians. Superior maybe its true when they managed to lie and deceive the western world.

It's easy to criticise by focusing on the negatives, but better the US being top dog than Russia, or China, or some middle eastern nation.

The world is generally a much more free place because the US has been playing Global cop since the end of WWII.

We're pretty spoilt if you think about it. The entirety of human history was all huge / global wars for millennia. Empires, Caesars, Kings and queens, slavery, genocide, etc.

It's easy to have a moan at the US (they do make a fair few gaffes) but ultimately they're about freedom and democracy, not tyranny.

Careful what you wish for.

Not criticizing US, US is right in its place, US govts main focus is its own people and if they do anything for their peoples betterment, its justified for them....
But in case of middle east issue, Yes definitely a Muslim nation, preferably Iran possesing a Nuke is the only soulution to peace.. Either no country should have nukes or everyone should have....
Only then there would be peace, otherwise one country will always dominate the other.
