simple a PL comes in a takes him
Hockaday wins the first five in a row? Will it save him from the baying crowd?
----------------------------
The miseries on here will go pretty quiet if he does ............ actually ignore that, no they won't - they'll just find a different angle of attack.
Hockey will get plenty of stick-WE ARE LEEDS- MOT
Can't believe how many so called "fans" seem so desperate for him to fail. It's fooking sad. If we start the season with a few losses and we play crap then he'll deserve any criticism he gets, but to slag him off after 1 pre season loss is pathetic
74 ........... agreed. They guy, whatever the rights/wrongs needs time - not sure he'll get it mind.
If we start with a rough patch (and with a relatively new team, that's probably likely) then the worst thing that can happen is if the crowd start turning immediately. I for one hope that doesn't happen.

I for one don't want him to fail, I don't think many if any do, its just we're expecting him to fail.
There's a difference.
Not a single Leeds fan in existence wants him to fail

right on, gelder.
The old " fail " chestnut is still doing the rounds I see. It's just an easy option for a total lack of bothering to understand a differing view point. We support the club. We want the owner, manager, coaches and players to succeed for the club. Expecting failure is not wanting failure.
If Leeds United win the first 5 games, it may be the biggest miracle since the parting of the Red Sea!
Or, would it only be the biggest miracle since the same start to the -15 season?
Remember "-15 and we still got to Wembley!". I even have the t-shirt that says so!
First 5, I go for W:1 D:2 L:2
No one wants the club to fail
No one wants to see their team to lose.
There is a massive difference between lookin at what's happening and not seeing a reason to be positive an looking at the situation and thinking this looks bad an I hope it is so I can say I told you so.
What I find funny is it seems to be the same few people droning on about some if our fans wanting the club to fail (wen it's just not the case) yet they have the audacity to call other people drearies.
Matty, if I could give an individual comment 5 stars, yours would be it.
Give it four, the spelling and grammar is a little off...
Matty you're right but equally trawling out the same negative drivel is a little tedious. Sniping isn't venturing an alternative view, it's sniping.
I've been on the other side as it were. Couldn't stand Bates, GFH or Warnock. Couldn't see the benefit in recruiting McDermott either.
I welcome alternative opinions and debate but you look at another thread regarding youth representation in tomorrow's game. It's juvenile.
The only person being juvenile on that thread Stevie is yourself.
Folk were having a perfectly normal discussion till you come along and try and take the mick.
Yup I do take the mick from time to time but in the comment above I think it's an entirely rationale statement based on fact.
