They'd be crazy not to sell in honesty. They can't finish any higher in the league realistically and the squad they still have is comfortably good enough to keep them as a mid-table club. It's kind of sad, but it is a fact.

Patience is the name of the game. Wenger is very serious this summer. But he did say that he'll buy aCB regardless of Vernaelen going but he wouldn't buy one to replace him i.e we either have 4 CB inc Vermaelen or 3 exc Vermaelen.
Ospina should be confirmed soon, Chambers is potentially a 4th choice CB so it's waiting game on a DM now. With that I think our squad is complete
