If we're talking how had they had to work to become top players then Gerrard and Lampard are on the list because they weren't anywhere near as naturally gifted as the other three.

However, they deserve credit for working so hard to achieve so much in spite of their limited natural ability.

Gerrard just looks good in bad Liverpool teams of past. He's just slightly above average.

My list is based on facts and expert no-ledge, clearly the people putting Scholes ahead of Gerrard/Lampard have not watched them play and are judging off FM.

i was just writing a post on this...

he's a good player no doubt but he's always been good..

but because the media go into overdrive about pirlo whenever an english team plays against him, people have been swayed now, gone from not rating him at all to maybe overrated him.
