Because contrary to popular belief, Torres at the time had been playing garbage and the initial fee by Chelsea was £25million

Unless you were party to any of the contractual agreements, then anything you print here is either opinion, hearsay, or repetition.
Just because JWH made a very unusual in order to justify the cost of Carroll, this does not make it necessarily true now does it You're just another "fan" choosing which "truth" to believe, just like the rest of us. Go figure
And as for winning, well lets just say that those that go crying unjustified victories are normally just losers. Just look at your pre match parades last season

I'm very sorry but just because you find it unusual is irrelevant.

If JWH made such claims that were bogus then we would have heard counter arguments from those in question.
