Where you at that game Paul?
I was
Ruined my impressionable teenage years
It was utterly devastating
Too many to think of just one!

lowest moment was back in the 80s. Was spat upon by a Villa fan outside Villa Park. Turned round and squared up to him, only to have several of his mates all turn on me. Ended up being battered. Suffered a fractured jaw, broken nose, and needless to say, concussion.
Still, we won the game!
That lad trying to kick David Pleat....and missing, that has to be a low point.

I always was a shiitt shot
Sounds weird but i would have loved to experienced those times i think you guys are lucky!!
The 2 years under Pearce were dreadful in recent times..Although i miss how good it felt to win back then!
Now we are expected to win every game and a draw can be disappointing...Not complaining tho!!
honestly not trying to wum but was Pearce actually that bad with you lot?
i mean, considering the trash he was given to work with and a transfer budget that frankly would have made Bill Kenwright blush, he did at least keep you in the top flight
or am i not really looking at the bigger picture? (seriously, i'm not trying to wum here)
Stuart Pearce was horrific
We only scored 10 goals at home in the whole season and none at all after New Year's Day
As a kid in the mid-late 90s, regularly playing a game me and my mate invented at maine road where we'd try to flick rolled up jafffa (<how is that a banned word?!) cake wrappers into the box they came in. Says it all that was more entertaining than the football out on the pitch...
Stuart Pearce was awful, utterly awful
Vic, to be honest, I miss it at times too. Not enough to want to go back to it just yet though!
Surely the lowest point was ending up in league one?
I felt optimistic when City were relegated to League One; I honestly thought it was the kick up the backside the club needed to get itself together.
Even throughout that season when the club lost games it should not have, I just knew everything would turn out alright.
However I gave up all hope, and was the lowest I ever felt supporting City, was when Bob Taylor scored the 2nd for Gillingham in the playoff final... I still can't believe City went on to win that game x
Probably watching the most inept display of football eer seen by frank Clark's city against bury.
Losing one nil to an own goal in the 80th minute.
Throwing paper aeroplanes onto the pitch was the highlight.
Oh an the fan who ran onto the pitch and ripped his season ticket up.
This was Clark's last game in charge so at least some good came of it.
Mad Frank's reign was one entire low moment. In recent years the cup final against Wigan was pretty shiiite.

The football under Pearce was dreadful and although he wasn't given a lot of money to spend, when he did he brought crap like Samaras (£6m!!) and Bernardo Corradi . He did bring Richards and Sturridge through though and got a bargain with Hart so i will always respect him for that.
I know we stayed up when Pearce was manager, but it was the dullest season I can remember. The only time my son has refused to go to a game - and in retrospect he was right.
When the kerb crawler ran across our pitch.
My lowest point was the 1981 Cup Final replay.
My dad and brother took the day off work (I was in 6th form at the time) and we all drove down to Wembley. We were in high spirits because we'd bossed the first game.
After the final whistle, I remember just crying all the way through the 2 hour wait to get out of the car park and not stopping until around Birmingham.
That got to me so much and it wasn't helped by my Dad saying, "that's the last time we'll ever see City at Wembley, son".
It was true for him though, he died 4 years ago.
I was strapped in front of the whole school at assembly the morning after for skipping school in the afternoon to get the train to London
I had been warned though to be fair
You're a born rebel PPLF!
Another bad footy moment for me was putting my hand in my parka coat pocket and finding uneaten chips & curry in a tray - I'd been to Molyneux a month before and forgotten about it.
uuurrrggghhh
Tommy Hutchinson's header. It was like a portent of the doom to come.
After the 1981 replay I got on a tube full of City fans. It was dead quiet - then one old guy said 'we'll be back'. Then it was dead quiet again. Later that night I got done for travelling without a valid ticket. It was definitely a low.
