We are shying away from real-time encoding and streaming onto Iphone Ipads until we have a handle on loads and performance of the new server.

This sounds like a great idea Admin, will have to see how it plays out, though. Quite unique

Nearly. But the live broadcasting and encoding of mic/camera is still but a glimmer in the eye of html5 for anything other than one to one peer stuff.
