Ever done what?

I have done the wolf run, which is similar but only 10k so quite simple for anybody who has ran half marathons in the past.

I believe Tough Mudder is a half marathon though, with the mud involved I think it would be quite difficult, although a lot more fun than a road half marathon.

You'll enjoy it, but make sure you start training sooner rather than later. You can start from 2 mile runs if you're unfit.

Just googled Tough Mudder, not what I thought it was. It has a range of obstetrical from water tunnels, walls through to island hopping and balancing beams.

Sounds ace.

You need to cut out carbohydrates, alcohol and s ex immediately. But it will be worth it.

I was roped into doing it this year for a charity but i had to pass for 'personal reasons'.

My wife has done it TWICE and enjoyed it actually. Though, she was dissapointed with the 'electrocution' bit - it did not have the frisson she expected.

So man up, start training and do it! It sounds fun.

Cutting out intimate relations... probability of electrocution... Booked by your Mrs...

I get the feeling there is a pattern to all this, I just can't quite see it.

she's probably trying to tell me something, but for the life of me i dont know what

I'm booked on with 3 friends. I'll know which one Dunc is because he'll be the only one using a zimmer frame.

My wife is doing it in September. She's talked to a few people that have done it before, and apparently it's not as tough as it looks. Quite a few breaks for the obstacles as there tends to be queues. A chance to get your breath back.

You say your wife booked it? You do know how much it costs to do, right?

we're on the first run at 9 so the queues wont be that big sadly

queues or not, 15 miles weighed down with water and mud will kill me

I'm sure my wife paid £85.
Still, all for a good cause I suppose. Unless my wife is lying and is pocketing £25. (I said I'd pay )

I did Hellrunner with a friend of mine who's also done tough mudder and she said tough mudder isn't too bad compared to Hellrunner which lives up to its name.

Best thing i've ever done though

posted on 6/8/14

it depends when you book it, the earlier you book the cheaper it is

posted on 6/8/14

Oh, you're on the first run. You're fecked unless you get some SERIOUS training in then.
