Why does an article as insightful as this turn into a slanging match?!?
The OP is worried about his club, and imo you dont have anything to worry about.
realise they have to be successful, Top 4 is the target this season, but that's the minimum expectation.
It's very unfair to compare it to Arsenal, cos we never had the financial muscle of Utd(& still dont) and we also had to finance a new stadium, yet Arsene continued to achieve Top 4.
Moyes took a team of champions to 7th spot
I think you guys need to give Arsene a bit more credit

Could it not be that UTD's actions (again, for better or for worse) are fairly unique amongst football clubs and are the sole domain of the very rich clubs of which Arsenal and many other clubs are not part of?

Someone asks "Is the color black the same as the colour white?"
I answer no and give some reasons.
You come along as say "well, you could also say the colour black is not the same as the colour red, blue or orange either, therefore you point is diminished".
