Have I missed something? Has Freedman been sacked or resigned?
I think he has until end of Sept beginning of Oct. If things don't pick up and he hasn't brought in the right attacking threats he will go as the club will be toxic by then.
Personally I think it wil before then Petrov. But for the get out of jail card last Tuesday, I think there would have been an extremely poisonous atmosphere right now. The result certainly didn't fool me or a good few other fans as well.
I don't see them getting anything out of the next two games (both at home). If I'm correct, let's gauge the atmosphere then. You can bet your bottom dollar it won't be pleasant to say the least.
I don't mean to be rude but I think you are all disillusioned. I can't see Freedman going anywhere at the moment. Gartside is in his element, he has a manager who will not ask for money and has reduced wages considerably.
Don't get me wrong I would love to see him board the next bus out of town but I don't see it happening unless we are very close to relegation just after Christmas. I think he might just have enough about him or be lucky enough to avoid that but we won't have anything to shout about.
We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Not sure about that SWIE. I really don't think the supporters are going to take much more of this dross. If there isn't a big improvement in both performance and results I can see the vitriol at Megson levels and even the inanimate object that is Gartside will have to listen and act.
I was in the club shop last Tuesday, looking at the recent legends that graced our shirt and I cannot believe how this clown has presided over the club falling so far so fast.
Sad, frustrating and bloody annoying!!!
I'm with SWIE on this. Freedman will be here until one of two things happens. Either his contract runs out (next May I believe) OR we get relegated and if we stay up even by the skin of our teeth I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him given a new deal by our genius chairman.

I don't agree with that. It is no worse off league wise then when he inherited it. I don't care who the manager was the cutbacks DF has had to deal with were coming for whoever was manager. The time of buying heroes is gone and I certainly not going to lay that on his door.
DFs problem is he sticking to a philosophy that doesn't work. It is clearly not working and only he can't see it. This has effected the players he has brought in, the fans and results. He would garner much more respect if at home especially he went 442. Dropped one of Medo or Spearing. Played two wingers on the right wings. If we win barring injury leaves it alone then Bolton fans can have little to complain about to him. If they want to moan about finances knock on PGs door and ask where has the 11 years of Premier League money gone?
The longer we leave it the less the payoff. No immediate sacking but a similar start to last season then he will go. No obvious candidate for me. The best options like pulis, jackett and mccarthy are no longer available. Off course I would not trust gartside to get the next appointment right anyway.
"The time of buying heroes is gone"
That's nonsense. John McGinlay was a £100k hero and Andy wallet was a £160k hero..
Heroes are relative. Plying our trade in the Championship with our budget can still allow heroes. It's the constant formation and player changing that stops us from seeing a hero develop.
Sorry should have said ready made.
I thought the Juke could have been the new hero to be honest.
When you consider the wasted millions, I believe the whole mood of the club would have been lifted with him at the club right now..
I mean maybe we have never bought ready made heroes but buying success is certainly gone at this level.
DF has always brought in his better players in January. How successful could we have been with the Juke and Mason from Sept all year nobody knows.
According to twitter Pulis may be back on the market I. The next 24 hours.
According to talksport pulis may leave palace by mutual consent because he is not happy with the transfer funds he has been given.

So he'll love us!!!
None of the above. We'll not get any of them, mainly because we won't sack Freedman.
I reckon a lot of posters on this forum, could do a better job than Freedman. I could name a few but then that wouldn't be a good idea. Most of them would say get a settled team, play your best team and get the tactics right. It has got to be better than the way our present manager believes is the right plan that we are all buying into.
I really do think he is that bad and what is worse, he believes his own press releases which is a joke.
Claims Pulis has left CPFC now. Unconfirmed.
Dougie won't leave til his contract is up. I can't see us paying gardening leave for one set of coaching staff & employing another..
But there's a caveat...
If the home games become too hostile and full of real real hatred, he'll go.
Gartside uses the sack button when he fears he could be next in line for the open abuse..
Yes I know... He's a disliked man too..

Meant Gartside not Freedman. Can't blame Freedman for the immediate post BSA years.
I don't think it's fair to say that he's sticking to a philosophy that doesn't work. He's made it quite clear that he wants 2 more attackers and so I think that he will change his philosophy if/when that happens. Remember this season is only 2 games old.
You're going to say he had all year to change philosophy last year - which of course he did, but this is what happens with borrowed players. They go back and you have to revert back to an 'old' style.
There were many times a fit Mason or Juke were on the bench last season. Even after the Blackburn and Leeds thrashings, he still had to mess about with line ups.
Unlike Burnley.
