Great news although I'd imagine we'll still be paying part of his wages

20 goal season coming up ?

Good luck to the lad, you can't fault his effort but that isn't what it's all about......

Baz will be devastated

Pragmatic solution and probably best for all concerned. Wish him luck, and at least he can't score against us.

Read an article the other day with Marcus Evans describing how owning a football club wasn't as easy as he thought, and how he was sold the club as being 'only a couple of players shy of a promotion challenge'.........bad news Marcus, you're still going to be a couple of players shy of a promotion challenge.

It's been coming for a while, he's behind pretty much everybody else in the pecking order up front, including Mason Bennett, who's gone out on loan as well.

Don't think his price tag when he arrived here did him any favours, we were all expecting a lot of goals, given how Nigel had been after him for a while.

Shame it didn't work out, but not good enough for our squad.

Baz and ZZ can put their voodoo pins to rest for the season

Hope it works out for ya Connor

Strikers who can't score are a death knell to the mananger who signed them. Even the great hero Kenny Dalgleish wasn't immune from the sack after he signed Andy Carroll. How about Chris Houhton, gives away Chrissy and signs Gary Hooper and Ricky van Wolfswinkel for zillions. Look at the number of managers Forest have had. They haven't had a striker since Collymore.

Just had a quick glance through an Ipswich forum.
Bit of a combination of absolute despair and hopelessly misplaced optimism.
Saw one post expecting him to bag 8-10 goals this season.

I know this was inevitable and apart from the name not entirely sure why I rated him but more to the point will have change all my predictions

Not just Ipswich with hopelessly misplaced optimism then Heb??

Sammon is a Mick McCarthy type player.

OMFG........what the hell am I going to do with my score predictions now....oh, hang on a bit, I was always wrong anyway doh. Good luck to him, hope he fares better with the tractor boys.

I certainly think 8-10 goals is optimistic! I expect him to get about 3.

I can't understand why he can't play against us, they might put in someone who can score.

They might even send him back when they see what he can't do.

I hope he proves us wrong though, he tried at least.

I'm afraid the Keogh criticism is already gathering pace:

Who's picking on the white Claude Davis?!!

Chaps, I genuinely wish the lad well. I'm sure he's a nice lad. Although if he scores against us I'll genuinely run on the pitch and nut the useless c4nt!!
