Ha! No worries postman, as happens every time, there's always one that screws my bet!
He's a good player kingpin, not sure he's fit in with your set up though.

Yeah there's quite a few on that list who we probably don't need at this moment in time but I listed them anyway as they're good players.
Did you take classes at GB's school of list writing?
hey melon whats your read on utd yesterday and what lvg should do ?
LvG needs to stop playing 352 at home against the lesser sides. Too negative. We should never need 3 cbs at home against Swansea.
interesting, only two currently plying their trade in the premier league
Roo,
I'm not sure 352 is the right formation for you at the moment without bringing in at least three players, I think you look better when you switch away from it. The problem with the formation is it requires discipline from everyone for the shape to work which is why it takes time to embed (Mancini tried it with us but had to ditch it). LVG is right in saying if you are to keep with it, it will be a slow learning curve.
The biggest thing for you, I said on a thread earlier, is that you are missing real leadership on the pitch to me. When you aren't playing well or go behind, no one seems to be rallying the team and you seem to have lost that inherent belief that United teams have had for so long.
He's got a lot of work to do, put it that way. Whichever formation he goes with, you definitely need a few players, and they need to be proper guaranteed starters for me.

Buying from other premier league clubs means you often have to seriously overpay. You only have to look at Southampton recently who paid £12m for Long
And no worries, melon is probably a good name for me too!
352 was anything but negative yesterday. The problem was that we played shiiit.
Whether it's 352 or 433 we still need to bring in players and seeing as LVG seems far happier playing 433 throughout his career surely it makes sense to look at targets who will work for that formation.
What confuses me is that he seems to want to play 352 because of who we currently have yet is also actively looking at players to work for 352, it makes little sense. We need players no matter what, lets buy them to work for 433 instead, my concern is the reason he is reluctant to go with 433 is that is doesn't allow for our best 3 players currently to all play in their favoured positions.
It's not a negative formation, depending on the wingbacks. It can be quite a boring one though at times.
melton out of interest would you have been happy if this was a new manager coming into a city team in this state and he stated he wanted to assess his squad before making more sigings beyond herrera and shaw. Also ttaking into account his involvment in the world cup

Yep we desperately need some more quality in the middle of the park. It really doesn't matter which formation we play, if we have Fellaini and Hererra as our central pairing like we did for the latter stages against Swansea then we are going to be in serious trouble.
Why did he take off Herrera for Fellaini?
We started playing worse after he went off, which is no surprise.

LVG was clearly going for the more direct approach, in the end we just started lumping it aimless forwards, it was arguably that last season under Moyes
Using a formation that relies on wingbacks makes little sense when we just bought a LB for £30m. Shaw is a great talent but he isn't a wingback, his best attribute is his defensive game, he is very much a full back and not a wingback. If LVG knew he wanted an actual wingback then why did he ok the transfer?
