Quinny, sorry to hear that mate
Surprised he's not being given the best of care. In my limited experience of our health care, my mum and my sister were treated right away and got the best of care. One with cancer and one with a quadruple bypass. Both had lengthy hospital stays and neither had to pay for it. Most importantly both are fighting fit and doing very well.

Curly, tell me to fook off if you wish but are you living in Azerbaijan out of a lifestyle choice, and is your daughter emigrating for the same reason?
So what the fck are you arguing about then?

I've read it - you think more than 520 jobs will be affected.
Quinny, the very best of luck to him
In my experience, if something has to be done today then it is done. Im not a medic but maybe they know what they're doing. I don't think they'd leave anyone waiting longer than is vital.
Best of luck to the guy
Never been a fan of nationalism myself, Britain, Wales, England. British, Welsh, English they are all just labels to me....
As for who rules the country, you Scots rule Britain as much as any other group does. I don't think any of you have less of a say than some random voter in England.
The British elites rule Britain.... just as the Scottish elites would rule Scotland should they separate...
Couldn't the same arguments about being ruled by others just be levelled at a smaller level again once Scotland splits?
What if the highlands don't want to serve the lowlands, Glasgow serve Edinburgh, ect.
It is no different to me than a North South or East West divide you could find in many countries. London doesn't really rule, not a normal individual Londoner anymore than some normal person in Scotland, Wales or anywhere in England.
Just never understood that aspect of it myself...

Explain what you mean by a lifestyle choice and the reason for the question
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just wondering if everything in Scotland is so rosy right now, why you and your daughter choose to live elsewhere. Lifestyle?

Yeah....as you said earlier :
"As said, anyone who thinks only 520 jobs will be lost if trident goes deserves to have their polling cards confiscated for gross ignorance."
How could I get so drastically wrong...

Mick, Good point. We are all groomed morally by the time we live in. Slave trade, apartheid etc etc was all well and good to different people through past times. Morally they're unacceptable now.
Handing over the keys to another country was acceptable but is it now in 2014?
