Lallana was only 1 year in on his 5 year dear at Southampton. Fabregas was 3 years in on his 5 year deal at Barcelona.

sir robert , as i said , i mean no disrespect to lallana , i really think hes a good player , but from what ive seen of him isnt a player whos value is 2m less than fabregas

Fabregas counts as home grown in the Prem as well

anyway , say what you like i would have loved to have had fabregas at liverpool for 27m over lallana for 25m . dont get me wrong i will back lallana to the hilt but cant help feeling cheated a bit

It's fairly simple. One team wanted to sell,the other didn't. Different contracts, different ages, different wages, different teams involved. I could go on.

i agree with all thats being said etc , except that it hurts a little that we spend similar money and dont get the same quality... thats all , i understand that hes on much higher wages etc . just saying

Not sure if you do. If he is on 60k more a week that's 3m a year extra. Over 5 years 15m. That's being a bit generous to adam. Cesc is probably on much more
