that just about sums it up.
me n mrs lanza there tonight.
I think I read on Sky that Main was out for four weeks.
Preston recently played a friendly against Liverpool, and played two separate teams in each half. They mean business this season, so it may require more than crossed fingers.
Forrester's presence or not will be significant and the news about Main is not likely to be inaccurate. People used to grumble when players got injuries in the SOD regime and blame those in charge of fitness. Deano reckoned his staff were able to keep players free of injuries and it must have some relationship with the management's training and physio regime. So are Dickov and Co failing on that front too? Despite what was said at half time there is little evidence of chasing and harrying and in the first half when he ought to have been fresh, Tyson just gave up in the chance he might have had with a follow-up when the PV goalkeeper spilled the ball from his shot. The commentators said that he was not at his best or something, but it does not stop him or the rest of them from running and challenging to regain possession.
Last time I forecasted a loss and hoped for a win. This time it is difficult to be optimistic. We have had the usual rhetoric from the manager, but history suggests it will have no impact; they will not be motivated.
Hey Donaldo
I have just watched the press conference and it looks like we have lost our "Main" striker for up to six weeks. My concern, like you is that Dickov doesn't seem as bothered as many others.
We are short of players yet, Wellens and Quinn are being paid but contributing NOTHING to the cause, this seems totally ridiculous to me.

Well Lanza, I'll be there wit the missus and the lad tonight so that's 5 of us.
Still no news on the Forrester appeal, now 5 pm in England, leaving things a bit late if he is unable to play.
If Forrester is unavailable, could this team win tonight.
Steer, Wakefield, McCullough, Jones, Evina
Coppinger, Keegan, De Val, Beenett
Tyson and Robninson
Subs Marosi, McCombe, Middleton. Petereson, Furman, Wabara and Whitehouse.
If that is the team tonight we are in for a battering i think.
Even Mourinho would struggle to get a result with some of those lads in the team.
That's my thought also Hound, but I couldn't come up with much else, that's all we have.
Forrester appeal turned down decision upheld, three match ban starting tonight. The committee was made up of three fellas from a blind school.

By the way aprapo my comment re Main on the DPL thread, I gather two or three of the squad had fitness tests due to possible Carpel Tunnel syndrome.
Tonight's officials
Referee Gary Sutton
Assists Simon Clayton Michael Denton
Fourth Alf Greenwood.
For those listening, are you experiencing player going in and out again? It was the same last Saturday.
What colour shirt has the ref got on under the dikhead black one?
Probably white if that's what PNE are wearing.
Even the Adims don't like us no more... No live link! (Leeds fans)???
By the way, Hello xon.
Jones has hurt his neck again.
Hi NY.
Didn't hear that/ hope not serious.
De Val also hurt off the ball xon.
Fuhk sake! Awesome start (to personnel)
Iain Hume at Fleetwood now I think... Big drop down for a decent player, I thought.
Jones holding his neck again. Going off and being replaced by Wakefield or Askins.
That's properly Jones' career over you know...
Could be an even bigger drop xon, he could be back with us!!!!!!
