Not for one minute Sprat will I think we will be top come May. I will be happy with a top six; I expect both Forest and Derby to be up there. This is early season banter, you have to jab when you can

The difference from the example you have given from last season is that we have defenders who have a robustness and calmness about them, and strikers who score. Couple that with a manager whose away tactic is not sit back and try to scrape a 1-0 victory.

Bournemouth are a very good team and there will not be many challenges bigger this season for any team than Dean Court. They battered us for the first half an hour but we held resolute. We battered Bolton on Saturday and should have won, so swings and roundabouts

It was a two point bonus last night, as I would have taken a draw at 19:30.

What is Schtevies thinking on the DM. I for one would be happy to develop Will into the role, but in every game so far he has substituted Will for Ramo, Eustace is not even considered for a cameo run out at Carlisle.

So as i see it, George is number 1 choice and until he is feeling better Steve can't make his mind up between Will or the Spaniard. Eustace is no longer in the managers plans at all.

Knowing your going to be substituted every game must be a bit unsettling for Will, and not getting a start after you finished the last game must make Omar wonder what he did wrong.

Schtevie....pick one and stick with it, just like Nige used to.

If you win when playing not at your best Strett, then you have a chance.

At present we still have a few problems in every area except goal keeper. It could all change by next week.

Did Buxton play injured last night?

Seems a tad daft if so

Its like playing dehydrated, you'd never notice the difference

According to RD for a large spell in the first half we were playing like the team from last season and Charlton could not live with us. So it's still there. Just not consistently.

But Eustace was part of that team for a long time so I really don't get why he seems to be squeezed out. I get that Steve wants to give Ramo game time to adjust but even Thorne had to wait several weeks before getting a run out.

But of course we don't see what happens in training and will continue to be playing Armchair Manager.

Just read you latest offering Strett!

Who do you determine as 'all'?

Or are you referring to a hand full of Derby fans on this site saying that we will win the league?? Just wondered?

It’s up to you to prove your innocence.

I have quantified all Derby fans have indicated that at some point they have all specified that you (Derby) will win the league; which you all have, many times. This is, and will remain fact until you disprove it.

No Moj; nobody knows

Yes I know what has happened to punctuation.

Nothing, it is still part of the English Language but only really necessary in order to convey meaning. For example, do we need a question mark when it is obvious the sentence is a question. I would say no in a sentence such as "What is the time.", whereas a sentence like "You are going to a football match" is a statement without the question mark or a question with one.

Just like your pedantry about less and fewer. It is only relevant if less can be confused as a statement about quality rather than quantity. Where there is no ambiguity it does not matter.

Less and fewer is not pedantry. Its incorrect use is symptomatic of the dumbing down of our beautiful language.

It is '10 items or fewer'. It is 'Derby scored fewer goals than Charlton'. Less on those examples is just plain wrong.

I'm not going to Panda to this sort of thinking

There could be some ambugity there Strett so you would use fewer. Howefer if I was to say that the average home gate for Forest is less than that for Derby, that would be both factually and grammatically correct.

Agreed Spart, likewise the following is equally correct...

The average away gate for Derby is less than that for Forest
