Are Everton any stronger than last season? I don't know all your signings, though you did make Lukaku permanent. Good as that is, it doesn't make you stronger than last season, if that makes sense. You've lost Deulofeu so you're a bit weaker there. Who have you brought in? Isn't Barkley injured?

we lost deulofeu but replaced him with atsu, we have signed besic for midfield, so we are possibly a little stronger. not to much change to the squad if i am honest, just made some loan signings permanent. Barkley is out for a while by the looks of it. i am looking forward to seeing sanchez looks like a top quality player

Mr Reasonable is an apt username
I hope you have a great time before and after the match but i really hope we win, thus causing you annoyance during the match
I don't think we are stronger than last season, having spent all our money (it would seem) on one player it doesn't give us much flexibility should as I suspect Roberto realise we do need more strenghening, particularly in defence. Who else noticed young Stones woefully out of position for Leicesters 2nd goal for instance. I hope not but judging by our second half display first time out, Arsenal are more than capable of reversing the last score in their game at our place.
I'm not obnoxious, ask anyone on any board - including the Spurs board - I just recognise you for what you are, an idiot with nothing to say. Anyway, I'll not be part of your wrecking of this thread.
Sorry, OP you've picked up a wrong 'un on your thread. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow, pretty big game for Arsenal and I'm not convinced they're ready for it - Everton have a good shout.
It'll be a tough game for both sides. If the Germans come back and play well I think arsenal will have just to much for Everton.
However I see the most likely outcome a 1-1 draw. Not a bad result for either teams.

It's my daughters first game as a season ticket holder & bizarrely enough my son's first game as a season ticket holder was also against Arsenal which was also a late Saturday kick off. Hopefully that's were the similarities end.
Surely then you'd rather your daughter experience a loss in her first game so as not to set high expectations on her football watching life?
