Surprised Rodgers didn't ease Moreno in gradually in a "easier" game. Reminds me of the Evra 1st game for Manyoo years ago. He wont have experienced anything like this before.

Think Markovic could have a good impact off the bench.

A good first half for us but a good firs half is never enough against City we HAD to take our chances.

There's that word again - error

Yeah, harsh scoreline, Liverpool showing they are no joke, they will be top 4 easily.

We really played some superb football there but our cutting edge from last season is missing so far. Man City will always nick a goal given half a chance.

If BR wants to play this way ie counter attacking, you need sturridge to do more off the ball and make a nuisance of himself dragging defenders all over

Good performance, and can take away a lot from that half. As said before, Markovic could do something off the bench.

One poor moment can cost you in these types of games and that is exactly what has happened. We have matched City well but for a slight error and they're ahead. Football for you. With Lallana and Balotelli not available the only real game changer we have from the bench is Markovic or to bring on Lambert and test them aerially. Hopefully we score early in the second half.

45 mins enough time to get an equaliser. Played well, looks like our demise post suarez is bolox....sorry to disappoint the rivals.

He has looked really good but as the commentator said he was caught out by the pace of the league especially in a game like this!

To be fair Moreno has don well up until that error, will learn quickly that you don't get that time in the Premier League. Johnson on the other hand has been terrible again. Given the ball away every time he's had it I'm sure.
