I'd prefer the rivals £75m fee they keep bashing us with.

Now that it has a 5 in the total amount psychologically it makes me feel better even if it's completely irrational.

Nice, saved 4m from sky's quoted fee I see as well. Nice one Ed! Have a bit of faith in him to get his man now.

Hopefully still at least one CM coming in due to recent injuries, and maybe another defender.

Vidal? We can dream right?

Surprised you haven't gone on about this more to be honest.

MUUD

Do you have an actual link to when you said this?

the fee has been rising all day. I knew it wouldn't be anywhere near as high as some were saying.

In saying that.....£59.7m isn't peanuts is it?

Eds pulled it out the bag, top notch

Don't know why but even though it is just £5mil less, this fee makes me feel so much better about the transfer

If we also manage to get someone like Vidal in (highly unlikely to be Vidal himself), then we can switch to a 433 and really start to think about top 4 again.

A midfield 3 of Vidal, Herrera and Mata is as exciting as they get and a front 3 of Di Maria, Rooney and RVP looks good on paper (or if LVG really is bold enough, drop RVP and play januzaj on the other wing and we will play beautiful quick football)

exactly how i feel

£59.7m suddenly sounds cheap

A world class winger since Ronaldo, 5 years we had to endure the likes of Valencia, Obertan, Young and Nani.

Obertan

i thought we were paying £200m?

I would never have thought I would see United in the top 5 football transfers in football history. It's littered with Real Madrid and Barca buys, feels strange we are with them now.

Can't complain, very high fee though. I think 40/45 would have been a fair price. Not my money to worry. We finally have a proper fućkín winger..

That £59.7m fee for Di Maria is €75m - the same price Real Madrid paid for Zinedine Zidane (in euros) in 2001. Zizoooouu
