really good insight into di maria stats last season.
the guy created 111 chances last season for his teamates, completed 1756 passes with a 82% success rate.
thats not feckin half bad
If Utd make the top 4 he will have been good value for money, certainly not favourites at the moment without some glitter on the squad
I'm amazed we didn't have anyone else in for Fernando, exactly what utd,Liverpool and arsenal are crying out for
Brendan Rodgers last year on AVB

I dont think any rational person could possibly think Di Maria is worth twice the amount Fabregas is.
would any person with half a brain think Torres is worth more than Diego Costa or Fabregas or Aguero?

I don't think any rational person could possibly think Torres is worth twice the amount RVP is.
Personally, I would rate Di Maria at £40mil based on the players that have been sold in recent transfer windows.
Ozil went for £42mil
Sanchez went for £35mil
I would class Di Maria as on par as these 2 i.e. great players, but not quite at the level of Suarez (£75mil) or Bale (£86mil).
Fabregas was underpriced to be honest so can't really compare the Di Maria fee to his. Fabregas is better than Mata, Ozil Herrera etc who have all gone for mroe money.
Just read that Telegraph summary of stats. Its verdict on ADM (assisting good / shooting bad) is simplistic. He had the highest shooting accuracy of all compared but evidently didn't take anywhere near as many shots as the others because he wasn't played in as attacking a role.
Still, impressive in terms of assists and chances created.

But that was whilst playing for Real Madrid who score for fun in La Liga. I mean when you have a player who scores 50+ every season plus Benzema and Bale who get you 20 each, assisting goals becomes a lot easier.
The season before, it was Ozil who was getting 20+ assists, after he left, someone else had to egt the assists as the strikers were still bound to score goals for fun.
Having said that, the stats are still impressive.
