Can't argue with anything you said
Haha gosh.
I think that LvG needs time to make it work. First we need to keep that back door shut and also see promising attacking play at the SAME TIME.
The totally new left side will hopefully give us much greater attacking force and pace. Once Rooney, RvP and Mata is given more chances, goals will really flow I do think.
If we can turn things around in time there's no doubt we're a title contender. We had no problems beating LFC or RMFC in the pre season and I expect more of the same very soon.
LvG have had history of slow starts, but when the wheels start going it picks up some great pace.
Think it's gonna be LFC who's the next LFC tbh. .
And Arsenal ofc has to finished 4th, like always.
1. City
2. Chelsea
3. ManUtd
4. Arsenal
Seriously though
what happens if you lose to Burnley on the weekend
?

We probably will.
It will change nothing, we will still need a good cb because ours are terrible and another CM, infact maybe 2 because ours are terrible.

Errrrrr we will remain on 1 point maybe!!!!!
Surely last night's result is a bigger low than Moyes ever took you to?
Are people more willing to give van Gaal time because he's a 'character'?

he took us from 1 st to 7th.
tbh going out in the league cup with a reserve side, even taking one hell of a beating, is nowhere near as bad as that.

Not at all. Getting hammered by our 2 biggest rivals at OT is a lot worse than losing to mk dons with a reserve team out
I suppose.
It's not really a reflection on your first team but it does contribute to the removal of the overall fear factor that Utd have. Teams aren't scared of you any more.
Well, apart from Arsenal obviously

Agreed.
We are evidently still bouncing along the bottom, the place that last season took us. However, we have a much better coach and a number of talented new players to bed in. It's painful to watch but I think most of us expect to see an upward trajectory this season.
A club,a manager, and a squad of players all used to playing most midweeks due to European and domestic cup competitions now with less games to play to help gel the team together.
Surely staying in the league cup would have given LVG more game time to experiment with formations and different squad members.
How will your senior players react this season as they are all used to playing pressure midweek games and instead they'll be watching the Champions league games on TV whilst sipping their £300 bottles of champagne with their other half
We haven't played with our best side yet...not nearly our best...will change when they all get in there.
Like an F! car with only three wheels.
Pit stop ya lose a lot of ground!
Phil winding up Mancs! Oh my days! Utd are so poor even their brethren are abandoning them.
