I agree with most of that.

Would probably put Leeds in there (unfortunately) and change Everton for Sheff W.

I just don't see Everton as a "big" club.

Everton have won the 5th highest amount of trophies and finish top 10 regularly in the Prem!

Sheff Weds haven't done much in living memory, other than get thrashed 7-1 v Forest in 1995!
Everton would've been even more successful in the 80's if it hadn't been for Liverpool getting everyone kicked out of Europe.
Leeds could possibly replace Newcastle based on trophies.

Psycho has got to be on the wind up.

Newcastle have won more trophies though

Villa? Won more league titles than most (although mostly in the 19th century) and also have a European Cup (after all, Forest are in solely because they won it back to back in the late 70s)

This was my list on the other article

1) Manchester United
2) Liverpool
3) Arsenal
4) Chelsea
5) Tottenham
6) Everton
7) Man City
8) Villa
9) Forest
10) Newcastle

Would certainly have Arsenal above Chelsea - based on the amount of major honours won.

Tbh, I would swap Spurs and Everton, Hengy. Would have thought Spurs have a slightly bigger global following, but cannot discount all those league titles the Toffees have.

Yea there's not a difference between the two... Same amount of trophies, they win more leagues titles we won more cups!

Like you say adding in the global fan base and better Uefa ranking put us just above them IMO

Also the fact it's been 20 years since they've won anything should go against them!

Yes I know we've only win the league cup a few times but they still count

Btw didn't realise villa won 7 league titles

One since 1910, or something, though!

Oh that's why then

Of courseI would loved to have included the Baggies in my list but in all honesty and realistically, although we've won a lot of FA & League Cups, its been many a year since we won the equivalent of the Premiership/1st Division title plus nothing in Europe.

Our supporters are a great bunch but at just under 30,000 not huge in numbers. Other than with The Dingles (Wolves) our club is liked by most footy supporters unlike some I could mention !

Spurs & Newcastle?

How?

It is my opinion, but I just don't see Everton as that big a club.

I mean for one, and I think this is a big factor, if we had come out with Everton in the League cup, I bet there would be a hell of a lot less people going then say to Tottenham.

To be completely honest, Everton are totally overshadowed by Liverpool in the city and I think that is a factor.

I am a Forest fan, but wouldn't put us that high.

Top 20, but not top 10.

Sheffield Wednesday are a massive draw

You are being wound up to take part in a pointless argument. Unsurprising it is WBA supporter initiating it, they are the body lice of football sites, harmless but irritating The "size" of clubs is quite simply, or should be.

1. The club you support
2. The rest

I was going to say the same Strett. Forest aren't in the top 10 anymore.

Everton are without doubt in top 10 and much bigger than Wednesday. Have a look at the history books Super Psycho!

No derby or leicester???

Sheff Weds, Villa and Leeds deserve a mention. Big clubs.

Think of Everton's history though, I can't even name the last time they won anything!

1995. When was the last time Wednesday, Leeds or Villa win something?

Leeds have always been a big club, you cannot deny that even though we don't like them.

Sheff W as well are steeped in history and overshadow United.

Villa won the European cup!

Maybe it is, but Everton are always going to be compared to Liverpool and there is no competition.

Same way no one thinks of County in Nottingham. Totally overshadowed by a bigger club in the city.

If they were on their own in a city, maybe it would be different.

Doesn't mean Sheff Wed, Villa and Leeds aren't big clubs. If we're looking just at recent trophies, Newcastle would be about number 30.
