Wilshire has been decent this season. If he stays injury free, he can become world class.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
An injury free season is pretty much a pipe dream for him though really isn't it?
Wilshire spends at least 60 minutes of each game laying on the floor looking at the ref. Maybe if he stayed on his feet he might actually be some use.
And Danny Rose in the squad? WTF?!

Lol...So he would get into Germany, Italy or Spains midfield? Whilst being a bit part player for Arsenal?
Not so sure...talented yes, World class no.
People don't call Pogba or Isco World class and they are far better players.

Exactly, happy to dish out the rough stuff but not so keen to take it.
Yes I nearly choked to death on a sandwich when I saw Danny Rose in the squad. Shows why we never look like winning anything
Wilshire is a young, decent midfielder, no more.
The term 'world- class' is banded about too often. World Class for me is Pirlo, Xavi, Iniesta, Kroos, Schweinsteiger, etc...
Wilshire is nowhere near that, nowhere.
Wilshere will never be world class, only reason he consistantly makes it into the England squad is cos he plays for Arsenal.
Rose is only back up though because shaw & Gibbs is injured!
He's looked pretty good so far this season

That's absolute rubbish.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
to be honest it's more applicable to Phil Jones, Tom Cleverley & Chris Smalling, now they ARE only in the squad because they play for Man Utd
I think Merson tipped Arsenal for the league and Giroud top scorer didn't he?
Clearly back on the bizzle.
Ok, I guess Rose probably is the best we can do, given the injuries to other players. Still a shock though!
So again the squad is made up with players that can't even hold down a 1st team place.
The future looks very bleak as per usual.
Wilshire is so average, and absolutely sums up how their is a complete lack of talent in the England squad nowadays.

Indeed, having said that this team will win the same amount of trophies as "The Golden Generation" did
