He was excellent today. He did everything but score. The way he carries the ball and his skill is under appreciated in this country. If he was Spanish or Brazilian everybody would be raving about him. He's a very very good footballer. I don't know why there are still people (mostly other fans) complaining about his attitude. He seems like a really down to earth person.

This is a bit weird, in daniels interviews he always talks about the team, being humble and developing himself, staying focused etc

Whats brought all this about? His attitudes been 100% spot on since he joined!

Sturridge has attitude problems.I don't have to go into depth explaining it but I'm sure most people are aware of it.

Most Liverpool fans are not aware of it, since they don't seem to exist

I really don't understand where you are getting this idea he has an attitude problem. He clearly gets on well with his teammates (see his instagram for example) and works hard on the pitch.

Yes at times he's a little greedy, and gets frustrated when the ball isn't played to him. Suarez was the same, if not worse. Many strikers are.
Did Sturridge sulk, or refuse to pass to Balotelli after Mario blasted it wide from 35yards when he was free and in a much better position? No, he got on the game.

Sturridge has the best record of ANY Liverpool striker for the first 50 games. He's shown he can provide for the rest of the team, and is more than just a finisher. He's not quite up there with the likes of Aguero, Suarez etc, but he's still an excellent player.

To me, it just seems you have an agenda and want to pick on minor things

I have been nothing but impressed by him since he signed for us.

We got an absolute bargain on a great player.

I don't think he would get anywhere near as much suspicion and criticism as he does if he were white.

People won't like that opinion, but it's true IMO.

Not saying everyone with a negative opinion of him is intentionally or knowingly discriminating, I just think our society still has an issue with confident black people.

Im not saying his passing is poor, all I am saying is if that part of the game came naturally to him he wuld be a very very good support striker.Im not convinced he is a natural number 1.His game is suited to drift on the periphery of the box than to be stuck in it.

Sturridge has attitude problems.I don't have to go into depth explaining it but I'm sure most people are aware of it.

The same things Mario is accused of in terms of disrupting team moral, Sturridge has those traits but obviously BR and his team mates have learnt to handle it.

Look Im not saying he is a poison but compare Sterlings relationship with his team mates as compared to Danny then its obvious what Droog is on about.

ultimately he is a good player so none of these things matter
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think it's a simple case of his teammates accepting him for what he is, and Sturridge himself doing the same. He does have a petulant streak, but all top strikers do. I'd imagine when he has these episodes he gets the pïss taken out of him in the dressing room - that's how i think the club handle him.

As for what Bluedroog says, so what??? He may well of reacted the way you said, but it was very short lived and he soon joined in the celebrations. He's well aware of his traits, you'll never stop him being like that in the heat of the moment, but he soon checks himself. It's only people like yourself that forensically looks through footage that actually notices anything!

COMMENT ON THIS ARTICLE
To my fellow Reds.

What did you make of Sturridge today?
---------

James - I'm glad someone has taken the time to type this article because with all the delight over nw signings bedding in quite well, one man has seemingly been overlooked.

Daniel Sturridge. For me, he is the main man at the club and probably our best signing (with Suarez) in years.

Couldn't be happier with him.

Thanks Metro, I stress, I wasn't criticising the lad, just inviting comment from fellow Reds. Much appreciated.

Whoa there R1, incredibly inflammatory comments, yet sadly there is certainly more than just a little truth in what you say.

Why TF are these tools still going on about his attitude for, ridiculous! Backed with virtually nothing substantive whatsoever. Yet there is a growing pile of evidence confirming the opposite of what they claim is actually true.

He works so hard on the pitch, and his skills are a joy to watch. Very, very popular with his team mates and a great personality on and off the pitch.

Yesterday he was brilliant. As he is most games for us.
