Suarez?
fack, I forgot about him Take out Costa then.
Messi scores 91 goals in a calendar year and isn't seen as a striker
Messi plays as Barcas main forward and should be included in this. you wouldnt include him an article about best wingers or midfielders.
top 5 for me
Messi
Suarez
Ibra
Falcao
Aguero
Ibra
Suarez
Welbeck
RVP
Aguero
Messi and Ronaldo are never included in top 5 or 10 lists because it's facking obvious they are the best
Rvp was in most peoples top 5 last year just after winning the league with saf...

Messi is a natural #10

thought he started out as a winger?
I know Mr C, but I don't know if his body has given up or if he's just peaked. He looks a shadow of that 12/13 season player. Hopefully it's just fitness issues.
Sturridge is still very under appreciated by many. If he was a South American import with a fancy name he would probably be on many peoples top 5 list but his goal scoring record since joining us and ability on the ball often get overlooked. The way he can get a shot off with such little back lift and space is phenomenal. Still got a lot of development to do does Sturridge but he's getting there.
Sturridge is borderline top 10 for me, top class striker though
Ibrahimovic
Aguero
Suarez
Falcao
Lewandowksi
Tevez
Costa
Cavani
Sturridge
Benzema
Sturridge has got some serious teckers for an Englishman.
Forgot RVP, what a pillock
Sturridge isn't in that class yet, but at only just turned 25 (yesterday), and as a player who has pace but is not reliant on it, I am hopeful he will push himself into that bracket in the next few years.
After 24 goals in 33 games last season, he will probably play nearer 50 this season (injury permitting), so 30 goals is a realistic target and with a good showing in the CL he will start to be talked about in more glowing terms.
Falcao is not just a poacher, have you seen some of his goals?
And Rooney forgot him aswell
Scoring some good goals doesn't mean you're not a poacher if you don't contribute enough to the build up play
Said it many times but it must be the Jamaican blood in both Sturridge and Sterling because very few English players possess such a flair and touch on the ball that them two do.
In terms of the best out and out 9's for me (obviously not Messi or Ronaldo) it would be: Suarez, Ibra, Costa, Aguero and Van Persie. My opinion being formed on the basis of having seen these 5 play regularly.
