Scouse bogans are real concerned about us

Makes no sense

Unless they believe they will miss out on top 4 for us

Can only explain their obsession

Falcao was offered to anyone who Monaco considered were in a position to accommodate the terms of his contract.

Only United were prepared to meet these requirements so he was loaned to them.

Didn't Liverpool try and get him a few weeks ago? Pretty sure that enquiry was official.

It was im not denying that, but the reports were that his wage demands were not acceptable to the club.

Not sure (Liverpool). I know that he was offered to a number of clubs. Unsure why the Madrid deal fell through as everything seemed to have been agreed.

Didn’t he tweet something about being happy at joining Madrid?

Can imagine if he was offered to us (Arsenal) AW probably collapsed when he saw the financials!

He did tweet that he was happy to join Madrid and then one of his sponsors swished him luck, both were deleted in a few mins of the tweets.

I read he said he wanted the Madrid move instead. Which still means we weren't his first choice either.

The Falcao-Hala Madrid post on twitter is said to be the work of a hacker/ photoshopper. This claim is further strengthened by a report emerging a few hours later with Falcao's twitter saying he had failed his United's medical and was going to sign for Hyde FC

posted on 3/9/14

I cant find anything online to suggest that it wasn't real, have you got a link?

Cant get to it in work but if someone managed that then its a genius move...

though the two things could be unrelated as im pretty sure he did want Madrid as I think I recall his dad saying something of the sort!

6m for one of the best strikers in the world is not massive.

Liverpool's approach for Falcao was before we went after Balotelli, and it failed because up until a few days ago, Falcao thought he was going to Madrid.

If Madrid were willing to commit to getting him, he wouldn't have given United a second thought - fairly embarrassing to see United fans making a big deal about this.

6m + 280,000 pw is a massive though.

But, couldn't you say the same about any player?

If Real came in for Mario or Rickie Lambert, they wouldn't have gone to Liverpool.

Yes, agreed completely.

But if United moved for Balotelli, he rejected them because Madrid were showing an interest in him, and then Liverpool signed him after the Madrid move fell through, I'd cringe at any Liverpool fan parping on about Balotelli choosing us over United.

We aren't paying 280k per week though. Moncao are paying half of his wages, we are paying the other half. Which is still 190k to be fair.

But he isn't costing us any more than if we had bought him. In fact, he is costing us less over the year than he would have if we'd bought him.

And £42m + £200k P/W for 5 years isn't massive for Ozil?

That equates to £94m by the way....

I'm going to say that Falcao's dad is lying.
