I have 3D in my Sony 50" TV but I've never used it, don't even have Sky 3D either so it's pointless.

Oh and the smart remote is ace. It's like having a laptop

Surprised at all the hate for 3D, I think it's a really good option to have.

I have Torrented some really good quality 3D films too.

I understand that it's pointless if you are watching something in 3D for the sake of it, but programmes specifically made for 3D are very good. Gravity was as good quality as in the cinema.

My dad has one, if people think 3D is a gimmick, they should see a curved TV.

The only movies out there that are better with 3D than they are without it are Avatar and Gravity. Sports in 3D is a terrible idea, mostly because sports are watched in groups and you won't all have 3D glasses and even if you do, only one or two people can sit at the right angle to view the 3D effects properly. Also they'll fall off if you celebrate.

Hmmm, David Attenborough is good in 3D.

I bet if you can torrent the frappening in 3D it's good too

Are the curved tvs any good?

They are good, worth the extra 30% you pay for it? Only if you are buying it for status.

The picture is heads and tails above other tv's at the moment. So no it's not a gimmick nor about status. If you want the best picture available this is it

I thought it was just for better viewing from angles?

None of the Samsung Series 9 are curved, which are well knows to be to be far and away the best on the market?

4K for picture quality

Been used in cinemas but not on TVs yet. Not too far from now though I imagine.

Got a 55" led 3d 4k tv for the fitbaw this season and it's heads above anything I've ever seen before! Skinned me 1500 quid mind you!

Ps you can't get a led plasma TV, they're 2 different components
