Would be one of the worst moves United make if it happens.
Wouldn't surprise me.
Personally I just think we'll sell Mata and buy Strootman in January.
Good deal if Vidal's knee is 100% but I highly doubt it.
I am all for selling Mata for £25m plus and getting a top quality pacey attacker, like Reus
Sounds like Juve know the full extent of Vidal's injury
Daily star had this on their back page today. So it's BS.
If we are doing like for like swaps, how about rooney for a potato?
I'd like to see mata get a decent run playing with the likes of ADM and falcao, could bring out the best in him.
Can't believe how many people in the media and among the fanbase are turning on Mata, let's see how he does now he's got a bit more pace and quality around him in the side.
Would rather we break the bank for pogba

I actually think he's just in the wrong league at the moment. He seems to thrive on possession based football whereby teams patiently probe for opportunities.
The EPL seems to be moving more towards fast break football, with attacking midfielders that can get up and down the pitch quickly. Don't think that's Mata.
Maybe Utd will play that way and bring the best out him but the signing of someone like De Maria would suggest not - he's a wonderfully direct footballer who plays at pace and commits defenders.
Personal opinion but I think a move out of the league would probably do him the world of good.
Hopefully we re-sign him, miss him so much, best #10 in the league by a country mile, would happily let you have hazard for him
Oscar
Get back in your box ffs.

You'd trade Mata for Hazard?! Madness.
I like Mata but Hazard is better (by a distance I'd say) and 3 years younger.
Mata shouldn't be going anywhere we need to build a side around him.

Indeed... he's a winner!
How is Mata in the wrong league when he was thriving in the league in a team that wasn't playing possession based football?
Mata is garbage. Face it, Mourinho sold you a dud.

he was literally our only competent winger/AM in his first season and he did very well as the rest of the team struggled badly (cup runs aside). in the second season he was playing off of Hazard and Oscar and that was one of the most entertaining attacks i have ever seen tbh. So from that its obvious he either needs stands out amongst sh'te or play off of good players around him.

I hope this isn't true?! As much as i rate Vidal highly i also highly rate our Mata and would be saddened if we sold him. Whilst i agree that he hasn't been as great/effective as he was for Chelsea than us (especially this season) i'd be gutted if we let him go. For me Mata is the best technical number 10 player that we have in our side and once he gains his confidence back and plays with a much better midfield you will see him shine.
As for Vidal, can't we just buy him off Juve instead of a swap deal. They're getting more cheeky lately. They've already got our Paddy and i don't want them to have our Mata - but i'd like to take their Vidal off them
