Its happened to be many times, just assumed it was the american idiots at EA not knowing how to create a football game.

Keepers coming out, just a defender there on the goal line and me and my friend pass it to one another and we're called offside

Ok after another couple of hours, i will be honest i am quite liking this, and overall feels a big improvement over 14. Apart from a few minor bugs the game players pretty solidly. My only problem seems to be OP skinning of defenders and defenders standing still, will try upping the skill level to see if this goes away or not.

Found that i needed to fiddle with some of the options. Manual everything except air balls that give the player some assist in getting in position, otherwise i found the friendly AI was pretty dumb and doesnt help getting any air balls and just stands 10m away from the ball with no movement.

My biggest grip after a few days play is defending players not going for the ball, surround an attacking player but not attempting to get the ball.

I am playing on PS3, anyone else noticing a slight lag sometimes? It means every single one on one I get apparently I can't finish because I can't direct the ball into the far corner quickly enough to compensate for the lag. That's one of the biggest negatives.

However positives..
- 50/50s seem to actually be 50/50 chance rather than CPU getting it all the time
- I got two FKs in my first two games?! However in my next 4 I got none so maybe that isn't such a new thing

Negatives..
- CPU still has ridiculous pass accuracy
- CPU still have clearances going straight to the feet of the CPU striker
- don't like the new team management..it'll be clunky and slow on PS3, no reason to change it. And can't use d-pad which is annoying
- CPU still have those periods of play that more often then not leads to a goal where you continually tackle them and it goes to a team mate or throw in, blocks go back to them and likes of Sterlung suddenly have some super strength

All these are things I've found frustrating in previous FIFAs so guess there's still no change there

Won't bother then, my biggest frustrations are still there.

What edition will everyone be getting?

The Regular at £45, or the Ultimate at £52? Last year I opted out of getting the Ultimate edition because it was way more expensive but this year only £7 for 40 Gold Packs along with boots, kits and celebrations but I'm not really bothered about them.

I didn't play Fifa 14 at all, so will probably definitely (that's a thing) be getting fifa 15 with the white ps4 (i'm racist like that).

played the demo at my mates, seemed pretty good.

when i was playing fifa 13 it seemed 90% of the goals i scored were a result of cutting in from the flank, so it's nice to see you can score passing goals now.

as somebody mentioned opposition clearances are still ridiculously OP, they turn out to be the perfect ball to counter with.

goalkeepers are silly good, and shooting is weird aswell, you have to hold the button down longer for it to be a proper shot.

and some of the tackles you get away with are ridiculous, im thinking definite fouls here.

Gonna leave it another year, I compare the Fifa series to Arsenal. Suck you into believing you'll see something different in the upcoming game, then disappoint with the failure to solve simple issues, solve one problem and then another appears, obsessed with the money side of things (UT) and ultimately could be so much better if they used their resources.

Maybe that's a load of bollox I don't know, I just like comparisons.

Ok another few hours and i have now come to the conclusion the game is pretty broken. AI is shocking, tactics and things arent followed (told the team to play on the counter vs City, broke as fast as a dead snail), players stand still when the ball rolls half a yard away, gk seem a little over powered saving everything more or less.

Sounds about right.
