I really hope rodgers makes them all watch this game like 20 times over and dissect every element of it to show everything they did wrong.
---
You don't them to do any training this week then?
Strange strategy.
Fair play to Villa, did exactly what they had to do and did it outstandingly well. From a LFC perspective, the start was sluggish and generally if we dont start well we struggle. The defending in the first 20 mins was terrible could have been 2 or 3 down. A real lack of cutting edge with Suarez gone, Sturridge injured etc. Like most LFC fans given how well BR has done it feels wrong to be too critical. But was bringing both Lambert and Borini at a time when we were starting to look a little bit dangerous a mistake? All of Lallana, Ballotelli and Markovic are technically clever players who have the potential do either do something special or open teams up. Imo with all three off the team lacked a bit of imagination and was reduced to pumping balls into the area which of course played in Villa's hands. Would it not have been better to have just bought Lambert on to give a chance to one of Ballotelli, Lallana etc to try and open Villa up?
Put your mortgage on winning our next league game. We always bounce back after a defeat
did we really do anything wrong though?
I can't really remember much in the way of bad decisions or mistakes
just a lack of effort and understanding as far as I could see

20 matches = 40 hours. Plenty of time spare for training!

"That's what CL football does."
yes, sure it does

You don't think your players had one eye on CL and not missing it/saving energy for it?
The stats prove it, ask GB.
How many hours a week do you think footballers do?
"You don't think your players had one eye on CL and not missing it/saving energy for it?"

no.

I can't think of any positives to come out of the game really, just a very bad day at the office that needs to be forgotten before the CL game.
