For PL clubs it will be easier. Yedlin would only have to play 30% of US games instead of the 75% that is delaying his move.

It is basically to stop clubs from the Championship down filling their squads with crap non EU players, and instead fill them with crap English players.
It will become easier for PL clubs to sign the top quality non-EU players, on the flip side.
Aren't they also restricting loans from the premier league for non-EU nationals. So we would have to sell Ryo?

Wouldn't it just be easier to stop international movement of youth players. No U21 international transfers in or a very limited number anyway. Thus forcing top clubs to bring through English talent to get the benefit of learning from the best.

How would it be illegal? Non-EU persons have no rights to work in the UK, and have to pass certain requirements and regulations to work in the UK.

Cameron tried the same thing. Until yo fix the nderlying problem (crap coaches and academies) this will make no difference.
