No we can buy him this summer for 5mil
----------------------------------------------------------------------
That's what I heard. Then again who really knows with contracts these days.
Can they up the price or is it deffo agreed at £5m?
Why would we do a deal that favours atletico?
Thats right, we wouldnt im sure ive read we have the option of 5mil this summer and more the summer after

because he is their player, he is highly rated and they want to see if he turns decent....its not that hard to comprehend!
andy hunter is normally quite clued up on liverpool stuf and he is very specific in the article.
£5m fee is mentioned, but only in 2016, with atletico having an option to take him back after first 12 months of the loan
5 mil? Theyve done us... weve been robbed... 5! FIVE
What if, they wanted him back, we wanted to keep him and he wanted to stay here?
Well plenty pf other sources say we can buy him this summer, bet we do, bookmark
What if, they wanted him back, we wanted to keep him and he wanted to stay here?
===================
is this a genuine question? he goes back to the club he is contracted
So we have loaned a player to develop him for atletico for free for them? Lol okay
I'm sure the player has some say in the deal!
Literally a no win situation for liverpool if thats the case, we aint stupid enough to do a deal thay we get nothing from, otherwise we'd only be able to have him if he flopped and was awful

thats exactly what we are.
Obky signing manquillo is he flops
'So we have loaned a player to develop him for atletico for free for them? Lol okay'
-----------------------
Not being clever but Isn't this how loans work?
it is what it is and we are benefiting from him being here as of today.
hes not actually that good!
moreno is the better potential....... sorry but he is but manquillo could be an arbeloa type
How is it a no win situation? If he's good for you then you'll get a good right back for the season.
hes not actually that good!
====================
someone HAS actually seen him play
He should be more like glen, not look bothered, dont tackle, dont intercept, dont stop crosses
So we loaned a rb as a stop gap for what? Why we would sign him on loan of we didnt think we could buy him, it makes no sence for us to have loaned him if we knew that if he played well atletico wpuld just call him back.
You did the same with Moses.
Not really, plus we didnt agree a fee to buy him for
I see.
Still, I don't think it's that big a deal. Atleti always loan players out. Them loaning him to you and recalling him doesn't sound that unlikely because they could have just sold him.

5mil at the end of this season
If we agreed a fee they cant just say thst doesnt exist, im sure if manquillo doesnt want to join then they get him back, but they cant just cancel a clause they agreed to.
but they cant just cancel a clause they agreed to.

A Liverpool fan with the name John Henry in his username coming out with this is priceless.
It's not as if we can't negotiate the transfer of Manquillo at the end of the loan or far before then is it???!
If he turns out to be excellent for us in the next few months and towards the end of the season we decide to keep him on permanently we can offer Madrid say £7m, they get more than was promised them and with Juanfran in the side I can't see that being rejected.
People seem to forget that these negotiations are done by people not computer games.
