Good article Stevie, realistically and sensibly written.

Personally, and based on our current crop of players, and the last 4 games, I reckon we can eventually challenge for top two.

This team certainly has the motivation, no fear factor for the imports and look to have gelled quicker than most expected.

Revie brought in players that seemed to fit in and compliment each other, this team at moment seem to be doing same.

Once Berardi, Sloth, Monty, Del Fabro and Adryan find their feet we'll be a lot more solid and harder to beat.

Like most, I have excitement flowing through my veins.

After this article I'll never trust your opinions again

As a man with two daughters who had the sense to realise his mistakes, I can have no respect for anyone who went on and had five FFS - sympathy, yes

Her husband to be was a Manchester United fan, although he's never been to Manchester or a Manchester United game (funny that!) but thanks to the efforts of many in recent years has decided to support someone else now. If he hadn't, he wouldn't be getting married today.........

Brilliant article Stevie.

Full of hope and positivity and easy to see it was written by a real Leeds fan who enjoys supporting the club through good times and bad.

Enjoy your big day out and let's hope Leeds put an extra bit of icing on the cake.

And thank you all

I think it's an awful thread. Far too positive about our leadership. Overly supportive and downright wrong.

Oh and I also agree with 2020, anyone who has five daughters needs their head testing...!

My get out clause was that the first born was my son. Kept trying for another one.........

Good Luck to you and your daughter today. Only have 2 daughters and they both know the deal is no scuum fans for their other halves.

Stevie,

there's a saying, you got to know when to stop

A man becomes instantly poor as soon as he marries, but to have 5 daughters, and after they all get married...........jeez.

I'll start putting a few cans of beans away for you ...

Great article Stevie.

Best wishes to your daughter as she embarks on a new road in her life. Congratulations on converting your misguided soon-to-be son-in-law and making him see the light

(Cue tenuous link to dark)

Let's hope for 3 points for Darko and the lads as they also embark on their new road together.

Hopefully they can make it the perfect day for you - there just can't be another result other than a win all round can there?

You always seem to post well thought out and balanced articles Stef.
I too first watched the great Don's side in 1967, so have been on the same roller coaster as you and maybe that plays a part in having a similar outlook and attitude.
Six kids though, that suggests you should have invested in a telly sooner lol!
Enjoy your day and let's hope the mighty whites add to the memory of it!

Thank you

Everyone is running around like headless chickens and she who wants to be obeyed has taken to wearing a "fascinator" already even though kick-off isn't til some time later.

The "fascinator" is made up of a piece of material, a feather or two and a piece of wire. When I heard about the price tag I nearly died, I'm in the wrong business!

Yes Eddie, good times. We know what we're capable of but that's balanced out by some of the darker experiences.

Despite all the success one of my favourite times was under Eddie Gray watching a great crop of youngsters coming through. Not dissimilar to what we're witnessing today........

I'm still in bed, got up, had breakfast and now safely tucked up again. Parents and kids everywhere, not safe for the likes of me!!
