Why did he play Markovic and Enrique, even Coutinio? In this game why not play Lucas as we don't have any more options and even Suso?
-------------
I thought his decision making was wrong at times but Markovic looked one of the brighter players last night. He also has played in European football before so has the experience that Suso does not.
I agree we probably could have done with another man in the middle to stop Serey Die but would Lucas really have been the one to do it? A midfield of Gerrard, Hendo and Lucas has failed time and time again so there'd be no point of putting him in just cause there's no one else.
Don't see why you're complaining about Enrique either when he was solid defensively.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Opinions - I thought Markovic brought nothing to the game for us - Balotelli had issues linking with either him or Stirling. Enrique struggled all game and should be playing at home against West Brom to get his match fitness and form right with Anfield encouraging him. This was a game Moreno should have played.
Difference of opinions - no issues with that.

In terms of entertainment it started out well, with a ludicrously unbelievable OP, petered out in the middle before boiling up to the big reveal.
This article lacked the belly laughs I was expecting given the original poster and some of the commentators (the least we canbexpect from a vc appearance is his "bedwetting cretin" line) but overall it provided solid entertainment and is worth a view purely for the unexpected late plot twist.
A solid 4/5 stars
Brendan's just not a very good manager. Suarez had an absolutely ridiculous season last year and he basically galvanized your entire attack. All Brendan had to do was tell your players to go out and get in your opponent's faces and Suarez led the rest of the way.
Your defense was always questionable and he did nothing to fix that. If anything it got worse throughout the season. His signings, bar Sturridge and Coutinho, have been rather poor as well and I think you all noticed that.
I told some Liverpool fans over the summer that I thought Suarez was just making BR look like a genius, yet they all lambasted me and said the manager was the most important part of their team by far.

what a load of drivel
If Liverpool fans think Rodgers is the most important part of the team they will agree with the manager
Definitely Rodgers is the most important and that should be the same at any top club, especially when it's one that needs fixing.
So if Ronaldo joined Stoke City and led them into the Europa League, would you all agree that Mark Hughes is a brilliant manager?
I really don't see what was so outrageous in my last post, and I'm sure over the next 6 months you'll all start to share that view
I think it's more a case of managers get too much credit when things go well and too much criticism when things go badly but in truth most of your post is nonsense and disingenuous to say the least.
Stop press! World class footballers lead to more positive football results shocker!
In summary though I just don't think you know the game very well. Just my opinion and I'm sure over the next 6 months this will be supported.

I agree about all the credit/criticism managers get, but it's a little harsh to assume I don't know the game very well.
Just look at the positives Brendan was praised for last season. Liverpool pressed better than anyone in the league, attacked with a ridiculous tempo that most defenses couldn't even handle for the first 10 minutes, and you were great at breaking down teams that parked the bus. All of those positives could also be said for Suarez's individual game though.
When you look at the negatives, your defense was poor, substitutions rarely changed the game (albeit a weak bench last season), and I really can't even think of any more. Those are the types of things I'd say BR should be fixing, and the defense in particular has shown little if any improvement in over a year
I'm just saying that without Suarez, Brendan wouldn't have been praised to high heavens last season, and I'd go as far as saying you probably wouldn't have even gotten top 4...maybe just scraped it because the rest of us were that poor.
The Liverpool team of last year was the epitome of a team playing to their maximum potential, and thriving on confidence and tempo. To me, all that left with Suarez and you wont see anything like the sort of form that led you guys to 13(?) straight wins near the end of the season
but it's a little harsh to assume I don't know the game very well.

Is it? Because you followed that line with this;
"Liverpool pressed better than anyone in the league, attacked with a ridiculous tempo that most defenses couldn't even handle for the first 10 minutes, and you were great at breaking down teams that parked the bus. All of those positives could also be said for Suarez's individual game though.

Which is bollox and the fact you can only think of two negative speaks volumes for your overall appraisal.
