Spent £0.00 this season. The club are £82m in debt and he hasn't a pot to piddle in - took them from the foot of the Championship to the top. Weren't they ten points adrift or something?

With the resources he's got he should be in L1
If we had stuck with him we would be in the Premises.

My point all along. Maybe he IS Merlin the Magician!
Just noticed that United have stormed the top 4 and are back in the big time.
Blimey, Everton are in trouble.
We'd have gone down Bute, but he must be the best manager ever for taking a halfway decent club up.
Incidentally, the WHOLE reason for Arsenal's defeat today was the referee.

???
Still a great result for Mick
He just said that the referee cost them after Arsenal dominated the game from start to finish. I haven't seen it but from what I am hearing and reading, Chelsea were well worth their win.
I heard the last few minutes and Welbeck should have got two reds for that challenge, but only got a yellow.

I'd say all the results this weekend have been favourable to Wolves in that they haven't caused too much damage. So many draws! They're obviously unaware of Wolfy's draw limitation.

Mick 6th
Us 8th

A difference of seconds between being joint-top and 6th! It's close at the top.
2 points separate 1st from 8th in the Championship going into the international break. Looks like it's going to be closer than ever this season. Certainly don't think any team looks good enough to run away with it.
Every side in that top eight will be kicking themselves for not being clear at the top. It is as poor a Championship this season as it is a Premiership *
*Except Chelsea.
8 draws in the Championship this weekend. 10 teams scored a single goal without winning. 2 scored a single goal and lost. RAA.
no point in dropping stearman as we ddon't have a better CB right now. even though he has had a bad couple of games, it's annoying that fans aren't also singling out batth, who has been equally below par of late. and those suggesting ricketts comes in as CB presumably didn't watch him play against huddersfield, where he was awful.
no need to panic just yet. KJ has to work with the back four to get them back at the level they were at start of the season. but the poor defensive run also coincides with kmac's worst run of form since he joined us, which I don't think is a coincidence.
with the international break, I'm hoping the extra week off will mean evans can get back fit and kmac can get his head back in the game. havig those two back together and playing to their best will take pressure off DB and stears and give us a chance to tighten up at the back again.
also important that we maintain our increased attacking threat so the fitness of dicko could be vital
We're still only just into the season, so very much early-days. Mick continues to astonish, and earns great respect, and if he can continue to challenge with his rag-bag of frees and beg/steal/borrows could well earn his 3rd promotion. Although we can be excused as newcomers to the league, we will hopefully be challenging all season. Up the Wolves!
Our Achilles heel is our striker situation. It maybe heresy to say it but Dicko is not effective this season. A great runner and worker yes, but he's supposed to be our main goalscorer.
Everything about Sagbo points in the same direction, a runner / worker but not a natural goalscorer.
Oh for a Holt or Murray, never mind a Wood or Bamford.
As good as a Mutchy is, its a Bully we want.
... Give that man a soap box !
Sooner have £ notes thanks.
