Awh, you can only beat the sides you play.

Unless you only get two points for playing so called "Relegation Candidates"

De Gea turned into Superman to be fair. Stuck a fiver on Everton to draw, Chelsea to win, when Everton were 1-0 down. They got back into it but then had to bring that clown Oviedo on, my god he's poor. Lukaku was playing like some guy they dragged of the street also. For all Naismith's limited ability, at least he put in an effort. Also what's up with playing Lukaku on the left?

Everton look lacking of any creativity and there only weapon seems like Baines crossing from the left. Desperately need Barkley back and I'm guessing Mirallas is injured also.

DDG kept United in the game and won the points.

Yeah thought Everton would get something today, they were unlucky to be fair.

On the bright side at least QPR are losing so you guys won't drop into the relegation zone. For now, anyway.

Desperately unlucky today, there's not many teams that will travel to Old Trafford in the premier league and come away with 0 points!

I can think of at least one other who will

75% of teams have left OT this season with 0 points.

We played Everton at home and earned a hard fought win.

Liverpool played Everton at home and battled their way to a deserved point.

yes but we've had an easier start, and they have injuries

I guess at least we lost away to a top four team. Just a point away to a mid table side is hard to take

............................................................................

Everton played Liverpool away and picked up an undeserved point but a good point nonetheless.

Think that looks a little more accurate.

How can you undeserved a point?

United in my opinion undeserved all three today

Man utd missed 2 sitters at start of 2nd half before you equalised out the blue. 1st half to we battered your lot but wayward finishing kept you in the game and nearly daylight robbery at end of 1st half if you scored.

The fact is only after Fellaini came on did you start creating chances.

Everton should be dissapointed with themselves, should be winning against Utd. Though De Gea did have the best match of his life tbf.
.............
Apart from the last second penalty in the 1st half and last 10 minutes he had nothing else to do.

posted on 5/10/14

To be honest De Gea was a spectator for most of both halfs. If Fellaini didn't come on the only save he would have made probably would have been the penalty.

Okay Fellaini's.

Jagielka hit a screamer & you salvaged a point from a game I didn't think your overall play warranted.

posted on 5/10/14

Did we not score while Fellaini was still off the pitch. It took a world class save from DDG from Oviedo to keep us at bay.

Of course, which is why I said in my original comment that it was a good point nonetheless.

Just thought I'd alter the description of the game!

I know but de gea had no chance with that. I was just saying you only pegged us back in our own half when Fellaini came on and stood there running around without trying to get the ball. Blind was charging everywhere to get the ball. I honestly wish we could get rid of fellaini and bring back cleverly and powell.

Yes but the normal person without the bias saw the game a different way.

United controlled the first half, granted but Everton missed a penalty and could and perhaps should have been level.

The second half, there was a period in it when Everton were on the attack and could and perhaps should have scored more than the one they did. They were on top after that and United got one against the run of play. They then were on the back foot for most of the remainder of the game with DDG keeping you in it.

posted on 5/10/14

Honesty thought that Osman had scored when the ball left his foot.
Super save from Dave

By the way Howard at fault for the second man Utd goal. Hit it hard and high and regroup to play in phases to see the match out.

TOOR we had 2 sitters missed at start of 2nd half and 3 or 4 good chances missed 1st half and then they made it 1-1 with first real chance after penalty incident.

posted on 5/10/14

Still can't believe the miss by Falcao then 2 minutes later it is 1-1 then Falcao clears off the line or be it I don't think it was going in just about. Then 2 mins later he scores to make it 2-1. After that we were poor esepcially last 20 minutes but 1st 47 50 seconds we were excellent.
