Oh stop it. We'll be saying the same thing every year until Wenger does one. He had little excuse after getting a fair bit of his summer business done early, to still be so lacking in certain positions - positions that we've all known have needed strengthening for a long time. Fact is, Wenger isn't close to being good enough anymore and the holes in the squad, given some of the shíte he's unwaveringly loyal to, baffle anyone with a bit of sense.

Chavy, if we had Ramsey, Walcott and if Wenger got DM in the mould of Khedira, I doubt we lose that game, Chelsea are too cautious and any brave team will kill them and it will happen, have you lot played anyone yet of importance apart from City away from home, and dont tell me about Everton😾

Before the peno, I think Wenger had his tactics right.
We struggled a bit in midfield but were going forward quickly.
Chambers kept Hazard quiet til his yellow.

To be honest in the end this felt like one of our normal performances against one of the top teams. Obviously much better than the horrific capitulations of last season, but still ultimately coming up short as we pretty much always do.

Players have the responsability to carry out the plan. Özil didn't play very well. Jack lost the ball where Chambers made that tackle.
