Kev you are going from bad to worse over this.

I will reiterate again that this started by you saying that on 'FORM' Drogba should be starting in front of Remy.

You have given no good reasoning for it, based on the fact that Drogba has shown NO such form when selected - on that basis alone it would appear the right thing to do to try another option rather persist with a failed experiment!

Just to clarify - Didier has only shown the form that you claim he has, when called upon, in very short glimpses!!

I reasoned it by comparing form and game time/match fitness since international break. Two goals and an assist? That's from memory - and that's definitely better than Remy's. Also what Remy has against him is coming back from injury and possible match fitness and sharpness is lacking. Brummie if you can't see my reasoning based on that then there is no hope. This is all jot including any of my thoughts on why the type of striker Drogba is should be coming on ahead of Remy here, but anyway you've displayed your close mindedness on this and in the past as well. No point arguing anymore.

And sticking Remy on with only two minutes left doesn't count.

He actually did come on and gave awa possession in the first instance.

But your comment made it seem like without Remy we will lose, which is ridiculous - I pointed out why it's ridiculous imo, because there are many other factors into play - but Remy, like Torres, seems to be a player who can easily build a huge fan base.

Fair enough - I can't fathom why we took a big risk by leaving everything last minute with the striker backup situation. Mourinho cost us the title most likely last season because of this, putting all eggs in the Rooney basket, and if not for Costa, would have been similar story this season. January is coming up.
