Happy with our play but not happy with our self destructive nature
the difference was aguero and the referee not bad
Lamela is so frustrating to watch sorry have been patient but not for me too slow for the PL not enough time to do what he wants
Fair summary.
Other than the West Brom game I've been very encouraged by our start under Poch.
The big test is next week. Can we turn over at a parked bus? Will be interesting.

You've been patient? What, about 10 premier league starts is enough to judge?
He'll be quality by the end of the season.
Lloris 7.5
Dier 6.5
Kaboul 6
Fazio 4
Rose 7
Capoue 6
Mason 7
Lamela 5
Eriksen 7.5
Chadli 6
Soldado 7
We've played City away, Arsenal away, West Ham away and Liverpool at home in the first eight games. I think we can be content with the start we have made.
I'm not very content with losing at home vs wba and drawing away to Sunderland though
Providing Spurs beat Newcastle next week then no real damage, but in all probability Newcastle will turn up at WHL looking for their first win of the season, will get pummelled and will walk away with the 3 points.

He was injured most of the season. Only started three premier league games....
Soldado a 7 are you guys pi55ed
Low on confidence, worst choice to step up to pen
Feel for the guy
Fazio was shocking
So was rose
Lamela good around the box
Mason impressed
Lloris saved us
Need a ST, Lb defensive Mid and Walker to return from injury, wouldn't mind Memphis Depay aswell
Obviously we won't buy 4 players but a striker is crucial in the next two windows

Sad match in which we had our opportunities including my penalty. I'm sorry and I'll keep working hard to help the team with my goals.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Gotta feel for him, It just hasnt worked out with us, Im positive hes a very capable striker with great technical ability but for some reason it just isnt working with us. Im sure if he moved he'd be scoring again. Some players work and dont work at certain clubs
Torres with Liverpool and Chelsea is the obvious example
I am not so heartened as the writer of this article. At the moment it doesn't seem much different to last season.
Worst goal difference of the top 10
Least goals scored of the top 10
Most goals conceded of the top 10
Getting thrashed by all the top teams
Soldado even missing penalties now
Defenders getting themselves sent off by stupid tackles
Lamela failing to score and looking lost against the big teams
No I am not heartened at all.

Really heartening to see the supporters getting behind the team.
Was Fazio actually that bad, didn't see much of the game but if we conceded 4 and he was at fault for one of them surely a 4 is a harsh rating
I am behind the team and think it will get better but that doesn't mean I have to like us being beaten by Man City or try to gloss over a 4-1 beating where a number of things annoyed me.

He's a central defender who shipped 4 and got red carded.
Lucky to get 4.

To be fair, Spurs were well in the game at 2-1 down, and should really have brought the game back to 2-2, 11 against 11, even after Soldado missed the penalty, Hart kept them in front with a terrific save. I think today`s result flattered City somewhat. Sure they were very quick on the break, and Aguero was too hot for the Spurs defence, but the ref did Spurs no favours at all, and Spurs will certainly beat a lot of teams in the prem if they play like they did today. The ref basically killed what had been a pretty even game, with the ridiculous sending off.
I really do think Poch needs to sort out his central defence once and for all, pick his best two and keep playing them in every game. To keep changing every game cannot be helping the team to be solid at the back.
Was Fazio actually that bad
===================
Put it this way SIMPLY:
SIlva and Aguerro would destory 99% of the premiership defenses the way they played today.
The $heikhs money obviously is what is keeping up there...Northern empty space, cold, crime and grime,
Once the money dries, the Argies/Spanish and the rest will leave
Cesc
Great result by the way
They were the 2 crucial points of the game but for me it was the players who let us down. Just when you needed Soldado to score he misses the penalty and then Fazio stupidly pulls back a player in the penalty area to give away a penalty and get sent off. Game over
So typically Spurs and so just lake last year and annoying.
